Oceano Modern Grill — Restaurant in Sabah

I had a very great dining experience here with my boyfriend.

Before our food arrives, my boyfriend decided he wants to have some wine and the waiter was very prompt, offered us wine tasting and yesss we had the opportunity to taste all of their wine hehe, finally chose one which is nice. We ordered their seafood platter, the wagyu steak and angus steak. The seafood platter was not bad, although the seafood on it kinda average but its acceptable, some scallops, some prawns and sea bass ( I think?). Love the scallop tho, so tender. Because the sides on the seafood platter was the same as the ones with the steaks, so the head chef came out and suggested that he will change the sides of the steaks, of course we said yes, very considerate of them to do that for us. The steaks arrived and we were impressed, and when we made our first cut thru our steak, boiiii it was smooth cutting like cutting a soft butter. Much kudos to the chef made the excellent dinner for us, and pair with the wine we chose, love every bite of the steaks! Lovely surrounding as well, quite and classy, perfect for dinner...

Such an amazing restaurant, for the food quality as well as the atmosphere. Please, go here when you love your meats. I can absolutely recommend the meat platter (for two). The platter includes all sorts of meat and comes with delicious sweet potatoes fries. The house wine, a Shiraz, goes well with the food.

Oceano is on the pricy side but it's the best restaurants at...

I unfortunately was not impressed - one should not expect pig meat in Malaysia, but they had huge problems getting my tuna right and the pasta was not overwhelming either - maybe I expected to much having grown up in Italy.
