We decided to tapau our dinner here and yup the food did not disappoint. Bought it around 5pm and only ate it later around 7-ish to 8pm, it was still slightly warm, which was a nice surprise.

We had nasi goreng kampung, nasi goreng ayam Thai and butter prawn. The nasi goreng kampung was solid, flavourful and satisfying. The ayam Thai one looked a bit plain (just a red-coloured nasi goreng) but taste-wise it was okay, just not super memorable. Butter prawn was also alright, nothing fancy but still hit the spot.

Overall, it’s the kind of place i’d come back to for that familiar malay flavour that feels close to home, especially for a Semenanjung tekak like mine. Simple, sedap and comforting.

Price wise was ok - i paid RM50 for everything...

Frequently came here as the foods were quiet good..but everytime i came the service still slow..since i knew already, after order the foods, i went to grilled chicken outside got wings, satay etc there and take it as appetizer..

When i came in to the restaurant, i was the forth table customer which before me around 2-3 pax each tables which did not yet received their meal..and it took me 40minutes to get my foods..since the weather is cold, so my nasi goreng already cold when arrived on my table..

There were too many flies too..but it seems like most of the restaurants in kundasang were like that (i assume because of the cattle...

Am still impressed with this place, i always thought that it is pretty hard to find good meals in this cute gnome town, it is a Kedai Makan Kampung or Outskirt eatery located at side of the main road, it has plenty of car parks, with car wash opposite to it..

The faded signage is self explanatory, they serve dishes with Chinese Style cooking though they are Muslim. Was here at 7:15am on a weekday, and their kitchen already steaming hot.

2 dim sums, a glass of teh tarik, a glass of kopi oo kaw and 2 sets of roti kahwin, RM18.60.. i still wonder why, is the dimsum cost RM5 each?

Maybe should their other meals in the...

Great Honey Wings at Syah Adila (Kundasang) This review highlights the delicious honey wings (sayap madu) I found at Syah Adila in Kundasang. While the overall restaurant experience was decent, the star of the show was undeniably the sayap madu. The wings were perfectly cooked and flavorful, rivaling the famous ones from Wak Ali. They also offered other options like mempedal (innards), buntut, and isi ayam. Overall, a solid spot for a quick bite, especially if you're craving fantastic honey wings.
