瓊鄉茶室 New Om Om Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Selangor

Location : Located on the ground floor in a row of shophouses, next to a large Pet Supplies store. Ample Parking.

Food *8.0/10: We ordered the usual “Tai Chow” Chinese Kopitiam fare - Steam Carp Fish Head, Steamed Egg, Garlic Stir Fry Veggie and Stewed Yam Pork.

Everything was up to expectations and tasty.

Only the Stewed Yam Pork was dry (the meat).

We also ordered a Fried Sting Ray fish with Thai Sauce (not in the photo). Not much meat at all and it felt like eating plain Flour.

Drinks *9.0/10 : We ordered the Longan Sea Coconut drink. It was home brewed, came with lots of Longan. Not too sweet and refreshing !

Service *7.0/10 : Basic Kopitiam service.

Decor *7.0/10: Basic Kopitiam decor.

Toilet *8/10: Clean.

Price *9/10: Inexpensive.

Conclusion *8/10: If you are stucked in a township called Rimbayu, or are along the SKVE highway, you can add this to your list for a dinner...

There's several kopitiam around this area of shoplots. But this one probably stands out the most, due to its lack of hawker stores. though its located in a row isolated with the other more popular kopitiam, Its a self run kopitiam, in fact with rather limited choice of food for breakfast session. Onli prepacked nasi lemaks, kuih kuih, beehun etc and their signature toast n eggs, tradisional style but amazingly, most choices of their breakfast are great. Breakfast onli starts at 7.30am, and do take note their signature lala beehoon(a must try) onli starts at 9am. Their kopi special (or the blue coffee) is also a must try. Love the food here but cleanliness is getting bad hmm.

Asked the elder lady to wipe the table with sanitisation spray, she came with a cloth that Has been reused for so many tables and simply wipe our table (table got even dirtier 😅)

Politely ask if she can help spray the table again, she said they don’t have spray for table and walk away. So I had to walk to my car and get my wet tissue to wipe it.

Hope they can improve better cleanliness. I know Pandamic is getting common and life is getting back to normal. But hygiene & cleanliness still have to jaga &...
