Since most of the Loh mee restaurant closed early. We ended up here for the first time. Their fried chicken wing and Loh mee with vinegar not bad. Except be careful with the durian stall that sell in front of the restaurant. The scene began when we walked over to the stall to check on durian price. An elderly man offer us a big plastic container box for RM13 for kampung durian claiming special offer since they are closing for the day. Hence we ordered a box for our after dinner dessert. The next thing was an elderly lady deliver 2 boxes to our table and claimed RM52 from us. After all the high pitch voice from that lady only to find out it should be RM13/kg and 2 boxes contained 4 kgs. So after all the Hoo Haa, I told her we will take a box because we only ordered a box for RM13 but now she charged me RM28 because she claimed 1 box is heavier than the other. Hence I told her to weight the box to show me twice. She kept giving us excuses that she weight along with the husk. In the first place if she is going to charge us by weight she should at least show us what she weighted instead of just claiming that 2 boxes is 4kgs without us verifying it. With all the commotion while other tables looking at our dispute. Suddenly another waitress from the restaurant came over to our table pretending to ask for durian price "is it RM20/kg the durian?" (like HK tvb drama) Long story short, the durian lady was utterly rude in doing business and pretty unethical for trying to blame their customer to have heard the price wrongly and trying to scam their method onto us despite over such small amount. I hope the restaurant waistress are not related because they kinda look like siblings. Bad reputation over a durian purchase. Probably our first and...
Read moreOne of the best dai chao place in Malaysia. Every dish here is unique, in the sense that you won't find it at your everyday dai chao shop.
The coconut prawns are to die for. The broth is sort of a cross between tom yum + a herbal lime concoction. 8 large prawns for 40. Worth every penny.
The steamed fish with cai po is the star. Sprinkled with sweet tasting fried shallots, the combo of Sweet flesh/fried shallots/steamed soy sauce hits the spot. At RM24, it's the steal of the millennium.
The kangkung in claypot is another showstealer. I don't know how to describe the taste, but safe to say it's delectable enough to open up your appetite to the other dishes that came after. Its a really unique taste that you won't find anywhere else in dai chao shops around malaysia. Best of all, it's okay RM8.
This is one of the finest places for chinese styled dishes in Malaysia. The decor is unassuming, there are no crowds and the prices reasonable beyond logic. Do yourself a favor and eat...
Read moreBad customer service, you need to be their loyal customer then you will get good service especially the fat lady, talked so nice with other customers but talked rude to us as we just asked about our last dish that not yet served. If you know them they will serve you food first and let other table to wait even you come later. Have to wait at least 30 minutes, their attitude are telling you that they cannot accept too many orders What to expect in peak hour, nobody serve you, you have to take your own chairs, you cannot merely order loh mee because they are selling SEAFOOD, my father ordered loh mee first followed by coconut prawns etc but the lady who take our order mentioned that they are selling SEAFOOD so make sure you order seafood first before loh mee else they are unhappy. DON’T order loh mee, coconut prawns and chicken wings also soso only No menu provided and price not stated clearly, the receipt also very messy and don’t know exactly how much they charge...
