What a great breakfast experience at the Ulu Yam Yam Noodle Kiosk! This small stall, located near the famous yam noodle spot, is a fantastic find. They offer a great variety of dishes including yong tau fu choices, as well as dry, soup, and curry noodles. I really enjoyed the thick, flavorful curry with their homemade 生面 (sheng mian). The pork noodle soup I've had here before was excellent, served with a generous amount of meat. This time I tried both the curry and the dry noodles. A great place to have a delicious bowl of Ulu Yam loh mee. With the right amount of vinegar, it is very tasty indeed. We arrived a little late at 10 am and the hand made noodles had run out. Yee mee was used and I requested for a mee hoon version. The owner said that the mee hoon version turned out too dry and made me a new bowl without me requesting. The coffee is strong and good. The Prawn noodles was pleasing and delicious. Their Laksa was also very good. I like their fresh Telur Ayam Kampung with Roti Bakar.
