Kelip-Kelip Ikan Bakar Kuala Selangor — Restaurant in Selangor

I didn't want to make the review about a race thing but what happened was so hard to ignore. Both my husband and I was eager to try the food, came all the way from KL too.

We found a table ourselves, table was dirty and we kept calling for the waiter/waitress for 15 mins. We were deliberately being ignored or they kept asking us to wait. 15 mins with a dirty table and no one wanting to take our order. We kept looking around, the waiter/waitress kept serving the rest ( yes, we were the only non-malays there at that time).

Frustrated, we just left as we really felt being treated differently. The moment we left, a Malay group came in and took the same table and it was quickly cleaned and they were served. We parked our car right infront the restaurant so we managed to witness what happened.

Just really dissapointed that this is still...

We ordered a family set for 4 pax and add extra 2 telur dadar, the egg is oily, we have to use tissue paper to absorb the oil, rice was a bit wet, other dishes was fine, the siakap fish was very big, but the tiga rasa sauce not so good, ok ok. Mantis prawn was bigger. Which is good. Unfortunately we didn’t try their ikan bakar, will try in next visit, cuz we ordered a family set, it looks a lot already, cant finish haha. One more thing, the first dish came already, but the rice was served after 15 minutes, should have serve the rice first, even it’s one dish, we ask why, they say some dish cooked from other part of the kitchen, some dish cooked from another part of the kitchen, saya...

Good places. Iftar here with my family. Nice customer services. Its a rare sight to watch all customers on the the table was asked if there any more dish not received and they make announcements when its maghrib.

Good food. I get to choose my own fish and squid xD. The fish is crispy. Fried without reducing the juices inside the meat.Tomyam pok teh is sweet. I love sweet but perhaps an additional chillies will not hurt... Sweet and spicy is good.Presentation is superb.I love how the lime was placed on the kerapu bakar.The feeling when you twist the lime to complete the dish is amazing!
