Lucky Light Restaurant — Restaurant in Selangor

It is considered Batang Kali's one and only decent restaurant where you can host birthdays, wedding dinners or even mass public events. It has a small stage, space wide enough to accommodate about 50 tables and most tables have table cloth and a lazy suzy to rotate dishes amongst diners. We ordered Hokkien large noodles, Signature Dong-Po braised pork belly and Signature Home-Made tofu in brown sauce. Honestly, the taste is nothing to shout about or exceedingly exquisite but i have to say service is fast, the portions are big and the price is affordable. We polished off everything in the ambience of amber lights and a good blow of cold airconditioning. The evening temperature was 30 degrees and you'd understand how welcomed it is to find an airconditioned restaurant. Go give it a try based on other's review of their offerings. Absolutely unacceptable service. I waited over an hour after placing my order, only to be met with complete indifference when I asked about it. The staff casually told me, “If you want to cancel, also can,” with no apology or explanation. The way I was treated made me feel completely disrespected and unwelcome. I can’t help but feel that this had something to do with who I am—because I saw other tables getting served much faster. Whether it was poor management, discrimination, or both, this kind of treatment is disgraceful and deeply disappointing. I came with my family members to celebrate mother's day. The food was not tasty. Just below average. But the main thing is, the waiter lady (old lady, black band on her head, wears apron) were so rude. Very impatient. Literally she will be the downfall for your restaurant. She didn't take orders well and literally show her rude attitude during serving the food as well. For the service we got, the food also abit expensive than other restaurants.
