Note: The following review is based on personal preferences and experiences. Taste can vary from person to person.
Eating authentic nyonya food in kl is not easy as in Melaka. I drove an hour to this shop just to try out their nyonya food.
Food ordered: Char Keow Teow - over fried taste. It would be better to use narrow size type Keow Teow rather than wide size. I believe narrow type Keow Teow can be cooked faster and easier. Portion is generous.
Hokkien mee - taste ok but the soup not hot enough. Portion is generous. Understand more varieties is good but since the shop is using "Nyonya" it would be better to focus on improving existing nyonya food.
Kochi with coconut - skin is too thick and a bit hard.
Cendol - the ice texture ok but gula melaka and coconut milk flavor not pronounced enough for my personal taste.
Yam cake - got yam taste but food served a bit cold. Steam it before served would be better.
When I look at their food menu, I find that the food choices not "Nyonya" enough in general. Any food with soup or sauce should be served piping hot (not sure because of the aircond fan too high or too cold).
Service from staffs is very good.
The menu shall be reprinted with better quality coz the text is not clear and very difficult to...
Read moreFirst time visited this shop and ordered some nyonya kuih, kaya toast, steam buns and coffee. The kuih are very delicious and not so sweet. The buns are cute and the fillings are custard cream and red bean. The coffee is good for me. However, I think the toast got little bit brownish at the edge, the texture is over cripsy and dry which I not so fond of. But the kaya and butter is nice and is still acceptable for me. Overall, this is a shop serving local and delicious foods, you should come...

Today I tried the food in Bukit Rimau branch, it seems much better. At 9am it was very crowded and full, so I decided to take away. Tried the Mee Siam with chicken wings and mochi kacang. Both are really nice. Fried chicken is really good. Will be back to try some other dishes. They...
