Google reviews are exponential, but why mine is different? First the misconception, there’s a Google review tab on the table for you to rate, idk the benefits didn’t care to notice. Next, the food as u can see the muscle meat is too small? Cold content like muscle fried squid and lettuce. As u can also see the shrimp is not that fresh either. The service is good really professional. Zebra Kopi is decent, sweet but Cincau is not as advertised as it’s about a third in volume compared to as picture shown. Now the pricing, a whopping 28 for both item, service tax yea I guess that’s why service good. It’s Chinese food for halal I can see why working class, the bao I can see in other table look good, just don’t ever go for these food meal, they are cheap and mostlikely you’ll get malnutrition. The next door mamak is more generous in food portion and pricing is wayyyyyy better than this one. Even old town is better no kidding. I guess u can also say the mamak so full everytime they just dine here for convenience. 👍 Seafood is 40% of menu so you can tell why...
Read moreWent for lunch at Mohd Chan Shah Alam outlet with my family last Sunday at 3pm to avoid the lunch time crowd. Totally disappointed with the food taste, quality and service. We ordered fried kueh teow and Ying Yong which was bland and pale and didn't look like in the menu....missing some ingredients. The dimsum was OK. Perhaps the cooks and waiters are foreigners and not properly trained. The toilet was disgusting! I saw the waiter used the customer's toilet, and then he came out to serve us! This was my second visit because I was very satisfied during my first visit when I took my tourist friends for dinner to eat halal Chinese Muslim food. Not sure whether I'll go there again.....maybe I'll give them one last chance to improve their food quality and service before I stop going to any Mohd Chan...
Read moreI recently visited Mohd Chan, and I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of food and the warm hospitality. The restaurant specializes in authentic Chinese-Muslim cuisine, and every dish we tried was flavorful and expertly prepared.
The highlights for me were the Butter Prawns, which had the perfect balance of creaminess and spice, and the Hotplate Tofu, which was both comforting and delicious. The portions were generous, and the ingredients tasted fresh.
The ambiance was clean and inviting, suitable for both family gatherings and casual dining. The staff were attentive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal.
Overall, Mohd Chan offers a great dining experience at reasonable prices. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and satisfying...
