If I could give 0 stars, I would. Called the restaurant to make a reservation, staff were very friendly but they were busy so they asked me to call the boss for more enquiries. So I called the boss and despite knowing I was a customer, he talked to me rudely. The line was quite bad so I did ask him a few times to repeat himself and his reply was 'DO YOU EVEN UNDERSTAND MANDARIN?'. I was shocked because I didn't expect such a reaction from just asking him to repeat himself. Then he proceeded to ask me what's my budget per table, and I said RM300+ per table. I was making a reservation for 70 people for a company dinner. According to the restaurant, they could only fit 7 people per table, meaning there will be 10 tables that brings the total cost to about RM3000+. Despite that, he just ended up telling me 'No, I won't accept. Your budget is too low'.
As a customer that has never been there, this left a very bad taste in my mouth. Even with all the positive reviews on Google about their food, I will never step foot in this restaurant because of how rude...
Read moreIt was my 2nd visit to Restoran Bei Ping today. I ordered 1x Honey Prawn RM43 (M) and 1x Curry Seafood RM 32.00 (S) and 1x Fried Dry Noodles RM12 (S). I got the shock of my life when the honey prawn dish came in with just 4 pieces of small prawns!!! What?? Immediately I called for the manager who explained that the prices for prawns had increased. I replied him , I can understand that prices for all things had increased but a dish of Honey Prawn which charged me at RM43 only has 4 pieces of prawns are absolutely ridiculous!!! Meaning 1 piece of prawn is RM10.00 is just way too blood sucking expensive!! Furthermore it’s not tiger prawns or big prawns, it was just a normal size prawns (please look at the photo and judge yourself). At least the curry seafood RM38 (S) has more “Liu” and more worth it than the honey prawn dish. I want to share my disappointment here so that you guys will not be the next “water fish” customers at Restoran Bei Ping. Avoid the prawns and fish dishes if you can. I totally felt cheated today....
Read moreThis is a pork free chinese restaurant operated by an uncle from China. I've been to this restaurant many times. So far, we love the foods very much especially the lamb curry, the curry gravy 羊肉咖哩 taste awesome with fried Man Tau (银丝卷) and also white rice. Second dish that we always order is 红烧豆腐, delicious. Another favourite dish is mango lemon chicken, but sometimes mango too sour. Duck is their signature dish, taste good but slightly costly. For green vege, try the stir fry Spanish with egg (波菜炒蛋), it is tasty. Lastly, their acar (前菜/开胃菜) is a must, my all time favourite! Always sold out or not available. Therefore, I always takeaway 1 pack (mid size plastic container, RM10/pack) whenever they have acar. In terms of price, it is considered cheap (excluding those premium foods). I would highly recommend this place to Muslim friends who wish to eat original taste of...
