I went to Polprero today, 11th July 22 with my family. Order made at 3.05pm Husband ordered Salted Egg chicken rice I ordered Lemon chicken And rice + telur for my toddler. Husband get his order. Then after he almost finished he noticed there was a dead FLY inside the salted egg chicken. My toddler received TELUR GORENG after one hour our order. I received my order at 4pm after one hour but my order doesnt look like Lemon Chicken Rice, instead i got Ayam Panggang Chicken Rice I asked the waiter is this how Lemon Chicken looks like? And they said yes I tasted the so called lemon chicken and it does not taste like LEMON CHICKEN at all. It taste like AYAM PANGGANG. When i open the menu in the order system. The menu for Lemon chicken changed to "sold out" already. What makes me dissapointed that the supervisor and the waiters keep saying that it is LEMON CHICKEN RICE. But what i received is far too different with the picture.
THE CONCLUSION Received "LEMON CHICKEN" RICE after ONE HOUR Received TELUR GORENG after ridiculously ONE HOUR (hahaha what a JOKE!) There was a dead FLY inside the salted egg rice Ordered LEMON CHICKEN RICE but received GRILLED chicken rice. But the supervisor and waiter keep on saying IT IS LEMON CHICKEN.
SO DISSAPOINTED ON HOW YOUR STAFFS HANDLE complaints They even said that "kami akan check gambar lemon chicken dalam system menu kami" You as a waiter should be well trained and know how your order should look like. They cant even differentiate LEMON CHICKEN and GRILLED CHICKEN????? Just close you business and fully trained all your staff first
We refuse for any refund because its not the issue. We just want your staff to admit that the LEMON CHICKEN RICE IS SOLD OUT. Instead of just send order of AYAM PANGGANG...

Picture this: a rainy, dreary evening where the heavens weep and so do your culinary hopes. Arriving early for an appointment, you crave a simple solace—a small snack and a decent coffee. Polperro Steak House promises relief, but alas, delivers disaster.
First off, let’s talk options—or the lack thereof. Of the three items I ordered, two weren’t available. This wasn’t a case of freshly foraged ingredients being out of season, mind you. We’re talking frozen, mass-produced mediocrity. Somehow, even that was too much for this establishment to handle. Faced with Hobson’s choice, I had to settle for the most uninspiring duo imaginable: chicken nuggets and fries. Not artisan nuggets, not hand-cut fries. No, these were the culinary dregs you could snag at a McDonald’s drive-thru for half the price and none of the pretense.
And then there was the coffee—oh, the coffee! Sold under the guise of "Vietnamese coffee," this abomination turned out to be nothing more than a sachet of three-in-one instant mix. The audacity to serve this insult to caffeine lovers and charge real money for it! Calling it coffee is like calling instant noodles a Michelin-starred meal.
The pièce de résistance? The bill. Over RM 50 for this travesty. I paid more than the GDP of a small nation for what can only be described as a meal fit for no one.
Polperro Steak House is not a steakhouse. It’s barely even a house. It’s a mockery of the dining experience, a cruel joke that I fell for. Rain or shine, early or late, do yourself a favour and steer clear. This is one mistake I won’t...
Read moreService = Very Bad & Poor Service... 1 particular waitress too busy to attend to even initial order... the waiter that eventually took our order didn't even inform us after we almost finished eating the dishes served that one of our orders sold out because we waited in vain for the arrival of that order but when we enquired its status when we almost finished eating, he just said without any sense of regret or remorse that the said order sold out;
Food & Drinks = hopeless and overated/overhyped... Steaks were dry, tough and overcooked... steaks were thin, just like eating slice beef... Abundant usage of MSG as my whole family suffered sore throat within 10 minutes of consuming their food, despite us deliberately not finishing our servings for fear of excessive MSG consumption... excessively oily too... drinks were too dilluted and hardly any taste of fruit juice ordered;
Ambience = not conducive for dining... Feeling stressed aura throughout the premises;
Price = it's only strength... perhaps this is why people dine here... it's pricing is reasonable for Klang Valley standards.
Conclusion... not even worth 1 star given but Google don't provide such option. Nevertheless, unless the management drastically improves on the critics above fast (especially teaching that rude waitress simple courtesy), I don't recommend would be diners, to dine here unless you are OK with rude waitress, and disappointing quality of food and...
