Dishonest seller

If I could give a zero star I would, bought their ba zhang and the actual product received is nowhere close to the advertised photo online. Fillings are so little and blue pea flower colour is so dull. I’ve asked to purchase 50pcs with my budget and they said that they can make it. After I’ve confronted about the poor quality of actual ba zhang cause the fillings are so little and it’s nothing as advertised, they said maybe used different part of the pork meat 😑 And then used the excuse of having to reduce ingredients to meet my budget 🤦🏻‍♀️ Any of these reasons would be absolutely fine if this was communicated BEFORE I’ve made the purchase to manage my expectations and I would’ve bought from other sellers, but this was only told after I confronted them once I received?? I’ve also found out that the photos used to advertise online were stolen from another seller and yet they still have the audacity to say that the photos were GIVEN TO THEM when I asked 🙄 (I’ve fact checked with the ori seller) Reselling from the original shop is fine but selling their own version (that’s not even close to the original) using the original shop’s photo is NOT OKAY! You can see this shop’s response have zero intention of admitting to their mistake and rebuilding their customers trust after my feedback, their response is way more disappointing than the 50 ba zhang I’ve ordered 👎🏻 I don’t usually post reviews but I really need to warn other buyers out there to stay away from this shop for as far...

Just ate there 30 mins ago.... was the first customer....foreign workers were using bare hands to handle the individual kuih packet to repack it in a bigger packinging for someone who ordered it. Only right hand using transparent plastic glove which was touching the knife , the outer pack , the table , etc etc....He opens the smaller packet , throws the Angku Kueh down and then uses bare hands to take the leaf and stick it back to the kueh....That left bare hands was touching the table , the phone , the chair and then clean the nose 😵‍💫😵‍💫 and that lady boss doesnt even bother about it at all while looking at them..... to who every is buying that one box today 13/3/24 - if u had diahrea , u'll know where u got it.

Btw... the kueh comes from someone else bavause we were looking at the buying and selling transection. Its not done by them.

On top of that my husband is an indian and lady boss wasnt too happy about the whole ordeal and ignored him entirely and telling some stories of her friend/relative happened to have a indian partner and seperated due to failed communication. When my husband pays and gotten the balance , she didnt even say thank you nor looked at him. She is just weird and not friendly at all....

Food was not at par with what u pay.... tried the nasi rendang.... bland.... tried the laksa.. super watery..... and i didnt able to completely see the drinks menu as she pools away the menu and talking about her friend/relatives story..... 🥺🥺🥺

“Bland” Baba Nyonya Cafe.

The title of the review says it all. You want your palette to suffer the most tasteless food ever do bring your courage to step into this restaurant.

We came into the shop with the upmost expectations for some quality food but was smashed in the face with plates of food that was bland and outrageously expensive for a venue comparable to a hawker store.

Asam Laksa : 0.05 / 5 - absolutely mild tasting soup. Noodles texture nothing special. Vegetables common to Asam laksa. Protein? Just a tablespoon of smashed up fish meat.

Rendang chicken rice : 1/5 - rice was cooked nice. Rendang chicken was tender but where is the flavour? Seems like chicken got frightened by the spices and ran away from it.

Jiu hu char : 1/5 - abundance of cuttlefish but where has the flavor gone to?? It just doesn’t make sense. The sengkuang preparation was rough could have probably done it better if it was machine diced instead.

Penang lobak : 4/5 - preferences will differ with people. Tasted good in my opinion but could have easily sourced from elsewhere not made by the restaurant.

Drinks : let’s not go into this.

Overall : the owner of this establishment really needs to reflect on himself. It’s time to get back into the kitchen and fix what is needed to be fix instead of running a scam house with this...
