Its a blast visiting Money Mama Hainan Kopitiam! The ambiance was extremely traditional and old school, with a very clean and cooling atmosphere. It was a nice change from the usual stuffy, oily-smelling air-conditioned coffeehouses.
Their iced and hot original Hainan coffee was a revelation. It was extremely fragrant and delicious, giving me a nostalgic feeling of old-school traditional Hainanese coffee taste. After my first sip, I felt like I was 12 years old again, dunking cream crackers into my first cup of coffee. It was honestly the best traditional coffee I've had all year, and my family couldn't get enough of it!
The butter toast arrived while the butter was still bubbling on the bread, and I highly recommend eating it while it's still hot. It was the perfect balance of warm, buttery goodness.
The signature curry noodle was also excellent. It had the perfect balance of creamy and spicy, and I couldn't help but wish I had a bigger stomach to eat more.
Overall, Money Mama Hainan Kopitiam is a must-visit for anyone looking for a taste of nostalgia and traditional Hainanese coffee and food.
The ambiance and flavors will transport you back in time, and the curry noodles will transport you to flavor heaven. The only downside is that you might need to unbutton your pants after eating, but it's...

Nasi lemak very very fragrant!!! Chicken was very big too. If you order this, must wait for 20mins as they freshly fry the chicken for you. Sambal was good.
Curry mee is very flavourful. Alot of santan taste & abundance of fillings. Must pair with the chilli they gave. Gives a nice kick!
Pork noodle is nice too. If they added abit more wine, they will definitely taste even better.
Hainan grilled tofu is very refreshing. They put alot of veges inside. Even after eating 3 pieces, still won't feel jelat at all. I really like this! 10/10
Polo pork bun was not bad. It has sweet from the bun and butter, savory from the pork patty & refreshing from the cucumber.
Ribena lemon MUST ORDER! Not too sweet, just enough and super refreshing!!!! 😋
I will come back here to try their crossaint. The table beside us ordered it & it looks...
Read moreVisited MoneyMama on the fifth day of CNY which circumstance may have coloured my view of the establishment. We had the signature hainan coffee, chicken chop and pork noodle. The hainan coffee was excellent; right coffee/tea portion and good clear flavour. Pork noodle was good. It came in a big bowl, soup aplenty but other ingredients portion were standard. Nothing particularly special for the hainan chicken chop served. A slop of ketchup on dryish fried chicken, sausage, peas and corn.
The air-con premise was quite big with retro styled decorations. The service however was poor. The waiting staff, all foreign workers, were not trained except to bring out the food and clear the tables. The boss whom was also the cashier was not amiable and indifferent even though they missed out one of our orders. Nothing much to...
