NR Cafe — Restaurant in Terengganu

Pros: Foods are delicious. All of the foods and drinks I ordered were really good Ambience is nice. Staff are polite.

Cons: Long waiting time. Prepare to wait 45 minutes for your foods especially on the weekend. Unsystematic order management which contributes to long waiting time. I have had wrong foods delivered twice, which are supposed for other tables. Some numbering on your tables (which is currently non-existent) would go a long way to solve this. Waitress took our order and then go to other table to take another order, before sending them to kitchen. That's 10 minutes wasted, as we had to wait for other table to finish their order before the kitchen can start processing them. Our ikan siakap tiga rasa arrived first, while we had to wait another 10 minutes for drinks (!!) and rice to arrive. Drinks and white rice should arrive first so that we can start eating while waiting for other dishes. They shouldn't take much time to prepare, so we were puzzled why they have not arrived first. Restaurant hygiene can be improved. Saw a cockroach roaming...

Somehow, we still come coz this is among the high reviews. Unfortunately, we are quite dissapointed coz of below: Very dark and gloomy ambience. Dead pond. We did not see any fish. Might be mosquitos breeder. Waiting time (1hour) despite we came at 8pm and the restaurant barely filled with customer. After 30minutes of order, we got our drinks. Then the waiter came and asked what did we order. U got our drinks right, but you dont know what food we ordered. For a simple dish of Siakap 3 Rasa, it is a disaster - Siakap overfried, mushy pineaple (taste weird). Very salty kerabu mangga. Super oily omelete. We did not get our Kangkung Belacan. The waiter did checked with us again if we got all the food, but somehow this is still missed out. Inefficient cashier. She had to leave the counter coz the bill is...

2 star down They have to do a proper cleaning as too many cockroach (flying) at the table we had. Huh, spoil the moooood !!! Because all made of wood and lighting is very limited. Please food is good but if too many insects around the table is not a joke ! We had change the table as well to upstairs, still there is tooo many insects, lizard and etc...hurhh ! We cant enjoy our food as we bring small kids which they cant seat after saw the insects around us !

Pls spend some money to do a proper cleaning and add some light for family visitor and price wise cant say cheap below KL price so we are...
