• Environment • The place is nothing much to rave about. There are seats where you can face the ocean. Mostly cater to larger groups of tourist, so if you’re an individual, you’ll likely be seated at the seats that’s ocean facing. • Food/Beverage • We’ve ordered a fú róng dàn(芙蓉蛋) which is just fried eggs with onions, but surprised when it came with prawns; kangkong qīng chǎo(kangkong清炒) which is simple fried watercress and xían dàn jī(咸蛋鸡) which is salted egg chicken. Along with two plate simple white rice, it pairs well with the dishes. The servings were pretty huge for 2 person. Beverage wise, there was a huge refrigerator you could choose from. I think the price is decent comparing to what is available on the island itself. • Service • The waiter who took our order seems flustered. We only found out that he misheard and ordered two salted egg chicken for us instead of just 1. The boss noticed somethings not right and came over to double confirm before correcting the mistake. Food were served quickly and neatly. • Summary • If you’re craving some typical zhú chǎo(煮炒) it’s definitely worth a visit. Payment methods include Visa as well, so it’s convenient, ofcourse they also includes your typical Touch n Go eWallet.

After passing by this restaurant a few times, we finally decided to stop in for dinner, and we were glad we did. We also found out it’s halal. The place seems busy every night, but we were lucky enough to get an empty table for the seven of us. The guy serving us was friendly and had a great sense of humor. We ordered ginger sesame oil chicken, Kung Pao diced chicken (at first, I thought it said Kung Fu! 😄), along with a few other dishes. For drinks, we had coconut water and a couple of sodas. Service was fast, all the dishes arrived around the same time, and the portions were generous. Everything was tasty, and the prices were reasonable. We’d definitely come back here if we ever return to Pulau Tioman.

I've dined at this restaurant twice, once for lunch and again for dinner, and I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised by how well their food suits my taste buds. The portion sizes are generous, perfect for two people. Despite some below-average reviews, I've had a fantastic experience. The staff is attentive and adept at recommending dishes tailored to our preferences.
