I recently dined at Salang Indah Restaurant and had a delightful experience. The restaurant offers a serene and picturesque setting, providing a great view that truly enhances the dining atmosphere.

One thing to note is that they don't serve seafood on weekdays, which was a bit disappointing for a seafood lover like me, but the menu still had no variety of other options to choose from.

As there are not much restaurants in Salang, Salang Indah has a "monopoly" here, which explains their poor service. I came around 9.15pm with a party of 3. The restaurant was full, a table next to us just received their food. No one serviced us, so we had to grab the menu ourselves. Tried to flag down a staff who was serving food, but she ignored us. One of the staff cleaning tables made eye contact with us, but ignored us. Finally, I went to the counter to order, and then the same stuff who was cleaning the tables told me in Malay that the kitchen was closed at 8pm. We were eating at the same restaurant around 9.15pm the night before, the kitchen definitely does not close at 8pm. Despite whatever circumstance they may have, they had so many opportunity to tell us earlier but they chose not to. So...

almost the only main restaurant in Salang Tioman. the one menu used for the whole day, with simple dishes and drinks. open hours quite odd - closed from around 400pm-730pm and they will not take orders for dinner before 730 even though you are already at the table. in general food is so so, good enough after a long day on the beach and under the water. nice view. they have both outside and inside areas but during raining time totally must get inside u can order either a la carte as in the menu or order grilled seafood at the bbq corner, at...
