Chef The Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in North Ari Atoll

We found this place from the map and had to try some Indian food. A small cafe popped up from a local home, maanged by 2 chefs multitasking their roles and waiters as well. Small cafe with fine accommodation with tables and chairs. We took butter chicken with parata and chicken 65 on a side. Surprisingly, it was so damn good. The parata was made my themselves, which is great and big this is the first time I've seen a bigger parata, which i haven't seen from India so far. Butter chicken and chicken 65 tastes amazing. we loved it so much as we had to come there again. Friendly two staff members. And we have been served quickly more than we expected as Indian food does take some time to be served. I loved the food hella. I do highly recommend anyone who comes to Ukulhas to try this place out. Horrible place. We waited 1h and 25 mins (yes: 1 HOUR AND 25 MINS) to receive terrible food in dirty plates. The cutlery, the glasses and the plates along with the place itself are a mess of health hazard. Waiter did not speak a word in English. We had to clean and sanitize the plates with some alcool gel. Food was terrible, chilly fish was made clearly with fish leftovers that were boiled and mix with a thick and smelly sauce to cover the disaster. We were appalled by the filth and the bad service. We left leaving the food on the plates. They are lucky we paid anyway. This place should be closed immediately. We were at Ukuhlas in November, January and now. And we kept coming back to Chef Nu. The food here is super delicious. The butter chicken is simply a dream! Nu and his team are very nice, accommodating and always greet you with a smile and a good mood.

Unfortunately, there is a small restaurant in the immediate vicinity on the other side of the street that keeps writing bad reviews, using other people's cell phones... quite deliberately to make the Indian restaurant look bad, as it is always full and there is hardly anything going on there.

I hope that justice will prevail at some point and that such disgusting behavior will be balanced out by karma. It is terrible when you intentionally harm someone out of envy and resentment and have other people give you a bad review. That is called character assassination. This has to be mentioned here because I find it terrible. All the bad reviews that have come in recently are just a few meters away!

We will definitely be back because we loved the food and also the ambience was nice.

German/Deutsch Wir waren im November, im Januar und jetzt auf Ukuhlas. Und sind immer wieder zu Chef Nu gekommen. Es gibt hier super leckeres Essen hier. Das Butter Chicken ist einfach ein Traum! Nu und sein Team sind sehr nett, zuvorkommend und begegnen einem immer mit einem Lächeln und guter Laune.

Leider gibt es in direkter Nachbarschaft auf der anderen Straßenseite gegenüber ein kleines Restaurant, dass immer wieder schlechte Bewertungen schreibt, mit Handys von anderen Leuten … ganz bewusst, um das indische Restaurant schlecht zu machen, da es hier immer voll ist, und bei denen fast nichts los ist.

Ich hoffe, dass die Gerechtigkeit irgendwann siegt, und solch ein widerwärtiges Verhalten durch das Karma ausgeglichen wird. Es ist furchtbar, wenn man aus Neid und Missgunst absichtlich jemandem schadet und durch amdere Leute schlecht bewerten lässt. Das nennt man Rufmord. Das muss an dieser Stelle erwähnt werden, da ich das ganz furchtbar. Alle schlechten Bewertungen die in letzter Zeit gekommen sind sind wenigen Metern gegenüber!

Auf jeden Fall kommen wir wieder, weil wir das Essen geliebt, und das Ambiente...
