Verbena Wine & Dine — Restaurant in L-Imġarr

This restaurant had long been on our list to try out and yesterday evening we finally decided to go for a late dinner.

Although we arrived quite late (around 9:30pm), the staff were very welcoming and reassured us to take all the time we would like. This added to the already great atmosphere inside the restaurant as in no point did we feel rushed, even when we were the only people left in the restaurant at around 11:15pm.

We shared the parmigiana as a starter, then had a duck and tagliata as a main course and desserts. The food was exceptional and the brownie was one of the best we ever had.

We were also offered a complimentary drink, which we highly appreciated and the homemade limoncello was great as well.

Anyone visiting Malta should come to this restaurant. They hosted my wedding reception in summer 2025 and they did a stellar job. When it comes to traditional Maltese food, there is nowhere better to go. Their restaurant is beautiful and comfortable, and they take pride in the quality of their food and service. I was made to feel taken care of and accommodated in terms of dietary restrictions, seating preferences, and lots of other small details. The chef and owner are both fantastic people who clearly love what they do! Thank you!...

We tried for the first time the Verbena restaurant and surely it will be on our preferred restaurants' list. The restaurant offers many different recipes immediately cooked by the chef.. the ingredients are fresh and the taste says it all. Everything comes from the nature directly on your table with a touch of love from the kitchen. The service was warm and attentive making us feeling at home. We tasted starter and main courses and the only pity was being full before trying all the menu. We'll try soon to have more good vibes in...
