Had been meaning to go for a long time. Finally managed and oh boy was it worth it. Owner couple are truly wonderful. Ambience is excellent. Food is second to none. Cooked to perfection. Seafood and meat presentation is superb, service is efficient and professional. Definitely a gem hidden in marsaskala Malta. A must go to place for the discerning diner. Seen reviews that prices are a bit on the high side. In my opinion, if you want an excellent well prepared and above all mouth watering dishes, then the price is absolutely worth it. a strange place where you sit in a restaurant but feel like a bistro with inflated prices. the service is very slow and sloppy, although they try to serve kindly. funny prices, for example, the catch of the day is sold by weight, 55€ is required for ordered sebas. the weight of sebas was 800g, it turns out that 1kg of fish, which can be caught right there in the sea at the cafe, costs €68. think about it. a butter knife was not served. there was olivella and balsamico separately. butter - two small unmelted pieces. out of all the dishes we ordered, the only plus minus ok was the eggplant parmegiano. After reading all these 5 star reviews I strongly wanted to visit this restaurant with friends but I will never go back again. Food might be semi good but the service is beyond horrible. We (6 people) got there at 20:30, ordered by 21:00 and got our MAIN course by 23:00. TWO hours of waiting and did not even get a SORRY. We paid min 45 euros per person and when I pointed out to the owner that we waited two hour for our food and was ignored I was met with a raised voice screaming at me, and telling me to leave HER restaurant for addressing this delay.
