We went on Monday morning around 10:00 and the beach was already quite full, but there were still some sunbeds available. The beach itself is REALLY BEAUTIFUL — truly one of the best waters in Malta, crystal clear and stunning.

That said, the sunbed management is very confusing and honestly frustrating. All the sunbeds are collected every night and only put out once you pay, which means: you end up waiting for the sunbeds to be delivered instead of just enjoying the beach, and there’s no proper control once people leave. We paid €27 for two people, yet we saw others taking sunbeds that had been freed without paying, which felt unfair. At one point, even a lady near us had to call the staff because they refused to leave her a sunbed until she showed her receipt — while random people were just taking available ones. This made us feel a bit discriminated against. A better system would make things much smoother and fairer.

The restaurant on-site is decent. Prices are medium to high, but since it’s the only option there, you don’t really have a choice. On the positive side, they do offer many menu options and the portions are generous.

All in all, the beach is absolutely worth visiting for its natural beauty, but the sunbed system and lack of clear division between paying guests and those just laying towels in between your legs really take away from the experience. With better organization, this place could be...

My experience at Paradise Bay Lido in Malta was ruined by the extremely rude and unprofessional staff. While the food was good and prices were reasonable, the behavior of the staff was unacceptable. One incident in particular stands out: a waiter opened our bag without permission and asked if our baby was inside, before proceeding to laugh and mock us with her colleagues. We were shocked and appalled at the lack of respect and basic decency.

In addition to this appalling behavior, the service was extremely slow and disorganized. The waiters seemed to have no sense of urgency or customer service skills, and the atmosphere was unpleasant and unwelcoming.

I strongly advise staying away from this establishment, especially the lady with black hair who displayed the worst behavior of them all. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism in Europe and would never return to Paradise Bay Lido again.

A positive note however has to be said about the area which is located in a picturesque cove on the northern tip of Malta, with stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea. However, this did not make up for the terrible treatment...

I have been coming to Paradise for over a year and a half, bringing groups of 10 to 20 guests from Marco Polo Hostel every week during the summer. I always valued this place as a beachside spot, but unfortunately my recent experience was extremely disappointing. I simply asked for a little strawberry syrup to add to my sparkling water, and they refused unless I paid for a full portion. I explained that I am a regular customer who brings tourists here every week, but the response was cold and mechanical, with no consideration or openness to partnership. It felt like dealing with staff trained only to charge money, without any genuine care for the customer. It is unfortunate that a place with such a good location and view offers such impersonal service, tasteless food, and overpriced menus, focusing only on immediate profit. Paradise is far from being a welcoming or quality reference point for tourists or locals looking for a good experience. I do not recommend it to anyone seeking hospitality, flavor, or friendly...

We stopped by this place on our way to the beach, as we were already a bit hungry. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere — it’s located right by the beach with a beautiful view of the sea. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to our expectations. We ordered pasta with lobster and seafood, but the dish was completely bland — even lacking basic seasoning like salt. The portions were quite small, more like tasting portions, so it’s hard to feel full if you’re really hungry. The best part of the meal were the shrimp and the lobster — those were actually very good. Prices are rather high, and overall it’s hard to recommend this place. Perhaps that’s why the restaurant was almost empty during our visit.

Very very busy in the summer. Can’t get moved for sun loungers! Seemed to me like everyone there was 20 years old so being 43 I felt out of place. The hire of a sun lounger was 10€ I think. If you want to use the toilet and need toilet paper then they charge you for it! I did not enquiry how much. I did use the shower after swimming. That was 1€ for about 2 mins of tricking water. We had a meal in the restaurant and overall it was descent. The bill was about 130€ for the 7 of us with drinks and tip. Worth a visit but we won’t be going back anytime soon.
