The Flora — Restaurant in Mosta

The place is lovely with a beautiful view of the church but unfortunately the food is unbelievable. We ordered a number of dishes, including set menus, green thai curry, and desserts. The food is clearly not authentic food. The set menu was inedible, tasteless, and clearly store bought processed meats. The curries were tasteless and too a long time to come out. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with this place. Now, adays knowing the standard of some of the Maltese restaurants, I really hope this restaurant tries much better to improve drastically the quality...

Several friends suggested this place for sushi and asian food. We went there with our kids. The place is on the first floor with long stairs. No lift. Place is very clean, welcoming and has a top notch view of the rotunda.

We ordered noodles for the kids and variety of sushi for my wife and I. We asked if noodles can come first but unfortunately they arrived well after the sushi. Not a deal breaker but we had to wait to eat and kids got grumpy.

Anyways, the food was superb. Well cooked and big portions too. The Takoyaki is something WOW. Very suggested.

Nice hidden place in Mosta, from the outside you can miss it easily, look for the stairs going up.

This restaurant truly shines with their dumplings (their speciality I was told by my server) I'm confident to say this may be the best dumplings on the island.

I did not necessarily like the fried rice (the house special) but that may be a matter of taste. Their dumplings taste so fresh and delicious they are worth the visit alone.
