Traffic Lights — Restaurant in Paola

WORST CAFE I HAVE EVER BEEN IN MYLIFE!!! Rude staff & incompetent cooks! I returned their beef sandwich as the meat was tough and inedible and instead they argue and tried to make me pay for the terrible food they served us! They returned to me with the exact same plate and said that it is how they do it! The POINT is that they DIDN’T RESPECT us as their customer, the cook was even arguing with me instead of trying what he served to us and see if he would be happy with it! I am a Chef and business owner and I wish I can give them a better review because I know the hard work working in the hospitality but this is unacceptable attitude and worst customer service ever! These people don’t deserve to be in business and they bring shame to Malta’s friendly and welcoming spirit...

In all our travels abroad this is our favorite cafeteria so far. During our short stay we had a chance to eat all our breakfasts in this fantastic place. The staff is super nice. The food is very good. What makes this place extraordinary, are the local customers. On the first day we meet there a group of local people (our “Golden Girls” ;) ) and then we were meeting them almost every morning to talk about Malta, the history, culture, politics, places to see, … We will miss our daily coffees and laughs. I have been visiting this cafe for many years now. I always order the same which is the Penne salmone with a big glass of fresh orange juice and a cappuccino in the end, this is all to die for, their coffee is amazing and their food is fresh and delicious. I don't live close to Paola but this place makes me do the trip atleast twice a month Their prices are very fair and you will see many local people coming here and enjoying their breakfast/lunch.
