The Pavilion Gastro Pub — Restaurant in Paola

The place is lovely but the service is a disgrace. We got tired waiting for our food, and obviously we checked with the staff to see what happened and to at least provide some nibbles (which non were given). After noticing that our requests haven't been acknowledge, we went to talk to the management.. and after few minutes, finally we got our food, yet half of the order was incorrect:

1. we had 1 salad but instead they came with a pizza (ordered by 1 guest who is gluten intolerant and had asked during the ordering process what gluten free options are available and had to settle for a salad), Luckily enough brought the salad immediately,
2. we had a pulled pork burger ordered without rucola, yet it came filled with rucola,
3. one of the pizzas was ordered with extra mozzarella the Bufala, but came with normal mozzarella

After the meal, the management asked if anything was ok, and we pointed out that there where some mishaps with the order. After some minutes the woman who took our order came to our table with an arrogant attitude, looking for some sort of confrontation.

This shows lack of professionalism from the management since his role is to check which of his staff is hindering his operations, either the chef reads half of the order or the waiters are incapable of taking a proper order...which we believe its the latter. The place does not deserve to be called as a "Gastro Pub"' since the service by certain staff is not up to the high-quality standard.

If you have some serious allergies AVOID this place! And if your looking for high quality standards than this is not the...

This bar is adjacent to the Corradino Sports Pavilion and is geared up as a sports bar where decor and tv screens showing live sports is concerned. I was there with a mate to watch a show next door and stopped there for a few beers and some food before hand. What seemed off to me was when a guy(who apparently is the owner) asked us to free the table because he had guests booked at 9.00pm. The fact they weren’t there was irrelevant. Do we finished off our drinks standing at the bar, during which time the table remained empty. So I’m giving this pub a second star for the simple reason that the ribs I took were decent - otherwise it would have been the lowest...

The food & prices are a joke. We ordered calamari fritters and a capriciosa. The Capriciosa was completely white we managed to eat it...the calamari fritters where Chewy and dehydrated like a plastic band in your mouth completely inedible. The waiter was professional and promptly removed our food and said is off the bill also asked us if we want anything else... But the food whatsoever is not worth the price. Prices are expensive to the quality of food being served. The staff is excellent with no complaints at ALL. but the food and pricing...
