Penzalapanza — Restaurant in Saint John

The pizzas are fulfilling and rich in ingredients and flavour. I have never experienced a situation when I could not finish the pizza. This happened to me in this very location; as much as I was enjoying every bite, it filled my stomach to the brim. Ended taking takeaway. The burgers that were served to other patrons looked abundant and tasty, served in a paper cone to avoid spilling ingredients on the clothes. The pasta plates also served to other patrons were surreal as seen in pictures, with the creamy salmon sauce. I couldn't but also notice the menu written on the wall offering different cuts of meat, fiorentina steaks, tagliata to name just two. As you can see my eyes were everywhere admiring all the dishes that this place has to offer. The attendants are outgoing and suggest items from the menu to help the undecided like me. Waiting time was decent with pizzas reaching our table within 30 mins max.

Time to tackle the even better ifs: The AC was on and doing its efforts to cool the place even with the main large door wide open. The owners of the place should consider investing in an auto open\close sliding door, so stabilise the internal room temperature.

Overall the experience was a positive one, and I will definitely be returning with my extended family....and probably go once again through the tough decision of choice...

Always a good choice to pass by Pensalapanza. Their warm and friendly approach makes you feel at home from the very first moment. 🥇 Of course, the food is to highlight because it is hard to find anything similar across the island, as the directly-imported Sicilian meats go from beef to wild-boar 🐗 including donkey 🐴 or buffalo 🦬 as well, that you can enjoy as in a hot-dog 🌭...

Nice place with good food, i tried the Grill for two and it was really a lot of meat. The food was simple but very good and tasteful, i enjoyed it. It is not a place that demands to be something else but it is one of these places that you want to go back. The price is correct and you are tempted to try other dishes. The person serving at the table was friendly...
