Read moreWe waited over an hour for our food. The place looks nice and we instantly got a table. First even though the restaurant was busy the waiters looked after us and made sure we had everything. But once we ordered the food it was like they’ve forgotten about us and it was really hard to grab their attention. We waited over an hour for our food!! We ordered three dishes, the maltese platter (cold food), the seafood platter and bbq ribs. About 50 minutes into our waiting time I was finally able to ask someone if they had any information on the status of our food. In the meantime other people had waited in the queue for a table, ordered, got their food and finished it, paid and left. Ridiculous. The waiter told me it was because of my seafood platter that needs to cook properly and acted like we were being impatient. To me it sounds like our order was forgotten. Which can happen but you need to check in on your tables in the meantime. If they had done that before I was able to say something, they would have caught it earlier. Also again if something like that happens you maybe bring a little snack like bread and butter or something complimentary on the house. You don’t make the customer feel like they’re in the wrong. The food was good. If you have no other option but to go there I would order something quick like...
Read moreWe came to this restaurant with high hopes after reading encouraging google reviews. We made our order and waited for over 40 minutes to eat the worst food during our weekly stay in Malta... I ordered a simple pizza with salami and mushrooms and it looked, smelt and tasted like the cheapest frozen pizza from the supermarket. My partner ordered a carbonara and it was the worst one we have ever had! No spices, no egg yolk, it tasted like pasta with water and expired cream. After a few bites we stopped eating to avoid potential food poisoning. To make things worse, the service avoided the matter and hid inside like chickens. I guess they knew what was served and it was not the first time. Too bad, they are not responsible for it, but they represent the owner and the staff. Overall, please do not be swayed by positive Google reviews of this place - these might be fake. If you need a good food, you can find many other places in the neighbourhood with much better, safer food at comparable price....
