We fell on this place by accident and I spotted an empty table at the very front on the outside terrace. A little later it got a bit cool (late February in the evening), so we moved inside for our second drink.
I had read the reviews, particularly about the toilet and I was extremely dubious to find out for myself but, needs must...
It wasn't as bad as it was made out to be, or maybe it hadn't been used so much. The toilet seat was dry (always a bonus when having to share it with men), there was loo roll and hand washing facilities.

It just takes advantage of its location; being the only actual pub in the immediate vicinity, and its 'corny name!', which is also in need of an update. (I can imagine the horror in the mind of the manager, if he reads this, as he knows, he's got away with it for so long). Fortunately, it has the patio area at the front, otherwise it would be unbearably cramped inside, and you end up becoming arbitrarily involved into other people's conversations, which admittedly, can 'sometimes' be a good thing. Tip: Don't sit next to the cigarette machine, otherwise you'll be constantly blocked by the intrusive presence of the person getting...
