After we took our gorgeous dinner @Rafael, we needed to walk those beautiful calories down... So we found Méz: funny, because in Hungarian language the word MÉZ means HONEY. 🍯
As always usual, the Ladies went to Toilette, so I had a bit more time with the Bartender, to find our perct Mixture à notre arrivée au soir... 🔱
[Back in the days, I've been working in a craft cocktail bar in my hometown, and I remember one of the most badass Prohibition cocktail; but the name of the Drink was not running up on my tongue, even though I felt THE recipe in my mouth.]🍸
⏳️
Let me copy for You - Dear Reader - from Wikipedia some main information about this Classy Cocktail:
"The LAST WORD is a gin-based Prohibition-era (1919-1933) cocktail, originally developed at the Detroit Athletic Club. John Frizell revealed later that the drink was slightly older predating the prohibition era by a few years. It was already offered on the club's 1916 menu for a price of 35 cents (about $8.22 in 2019 currency) making it the club's most expensive cocktail at the time. The cocktail however fell into oblivion sometime after World War 2️⃣. While the drink eventually fell out of favor, it enjoyed a renewed popularity after being rediscovered by the bartender Murray Stenson in 2003 during his tenure at the Zig Zag Café and becoming a cult hit in the Seattle area." 📖

Read moreWe went to this restaurant in the middle of June and we were amazed of how great this restaurant was and how we never heard of it before. We walked in with no reservation and they accommodated us in a terrace table on the Spinola Bay view. The staff were very nice and the service was unexpectedly good. The food was delicious, even though at first we seemed to be a.m but disappointed at the menu , which all the dishes were containing an Indian style. However we asked for recommendations and they were very helpful. They also told us that they do not use Indian spices but instead they use the one which come from Europe. Overall we enjoyed the food. The atmosphere was quiet and lovely. The staff were very attentive and came very often to fill our wine and water glasses, and also asked if we were satisfied and wanted to order more. It was a different type of cuisine and we never knew we were gonna...
