I would really give this place a 3.5 if it were to be possible. The service is really great, and the atmosphere was also all right, the prices were also on the reasonable end. My problem is the food: though the appetizer was really delicious, both of the main courses we ordered tasted dull. Was not bad, but "nothing special" and not in a good way. The prawns felt a bit overcooked and the octopus tasted like the chef is a bit afraid of using spices, even though the octopus itself was all right. Best place we’ve been in Malta( 2months here). From outside looks like simple place, nothing fancy, but food was more than excellent. Ordered lobster(need to call for pre order,as everything is fresh). There is 2options for lobster dish, but because we couldn’t choose as both sounded delicious, we asked if could get half/half. Owner was super nice and without problem made it happen,so basically 2 dish experience in one sitting. We stayed next door and didn’t think much of this place each time we came and went from our apartment. But upon looking up the restaurant on Google we decided to come for dinner. We ordered the grilled chicken with mushroom sauce and side of roasted vegetables and lamb cutlets. Really decent portion sizes. Everything was excellent and the vegetables were delicious!!
