Papa's — Restaurant in Siġġiewi

What a great surprise!

We found Papa’s while looking for a good spot to eat on our way from Buġibba to the Blue Grotto; and we’re so glad we did! Google Maps led us to this charming village and to a modern, lively restaurant that turned out to be a real gem.

The food and service were both fantastic. The waiters were genuinely kind and attentive, always with a smile and happy to help.

We had pasta, which was very tasty and well cooked, but the star of the meal was the pizza I ordered; topped with mortadella, guanciale and pistachio. Honestly, it’s the best flavour combination I’ve ever had on a pizza. I’ll miss it so much I’m already planning to try and recreate it at home!

Also worth noting: if you’re into sports, this is your place; there are plenty of screens and a great atmosphere.

Honestly, one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had at a restaurant in Malta. We went to Papa’s in Siġġiewi as a group of six, and it was a total disaster from start to finish. We all got our food at completely different times some finished eating while others were still waiting. The service was terrible, staff had attitude, and it felt like they couldn’t care less about the customers.

We waited over two hours for food that came out cold. The fish and chips were basically a plate full of oil, and the ribs were so dry they were almost impossible to eat. By the time we left, everyone was frustrated and disappointed.

Would never go back !! not worth the wait, not worth the money, and definitely not worth...

A solide restaurant in the style of a cheap 90ies underground bar where you get drinks, burgers, meat and snacks. It seems that the restaurant became new owners when you look on their social media presence. In the past it was a bit better adresse i think. The service was horrible and we had to wait very long for everything, the food of my partner came about 20 minutes before mine. There are 2 more restaurants in this area who are a lot better just for maybe 1-2 euro more.
