Rose’s Ramla Bay — Restaurant in Xaghra

Restaurant and ice cream parlor on Ramla Bay. Looks like a classic beach restaurant, lots of big fussy pictures of the dishes they sell, probably so you can order even if you don't speak the local language. The problem is that the dishes don't match the pictures, tried to order a classic banana split, pictured as a classic banana split; split banana 3 scoops of ice cream, with soft ice between them and a cherry on top. Got my order and there are no scoops of ice cream, only soft ice. I point this out to the older lady behind the counter (Rose?) who doesn't understand the problem, not even after she's been outside the counter and looked at the picture herself. She's obviously offended, and sees no reason for the dish to resemble the picture, and asks in a sharp and rude tone whether I want what they're serving or not. I reply that I don't want what she's served me now, but I can imagine what they're advertising in the picture. I'm then told, again in a rude tone, to leave the restaurant immediately. The service was very good indeed at Rose's, in a very relaxed atmosphere, and the place was crowded which in my eyes shows how satisfied customers are. We decided to have our evening meal after spending the day at the beach at Ramla bay, I was there with my hole family there was me, my Wife my Son and his girlfriend, my brother and Sister in law and there daughter, we ordered 🍔 Hamburgers chips 🍟 pizza 🍕 beer sparkling water all for a steady €61 which is a very fair price indeed the Hamburgers where absolutely mega tastey, and beats McDonald's and co by miles, so if you want a nice burger come down to Ramla Bay for the day and pay a visit to Rose's which is basically the entrance to the beach we have been twice already, and we are definitely coming back again I really recommend it 10 out of 10 from me well...

the old woman, at the food counter is horrible, angry, malignant. shouting to everybody, also to anyone who is working there and makes the badest situation for all. of course that's a stressy, hard job, but no reason to act like that!

there was a boy, maybe 12, 13 or 14years old and he wanted to pickup his chips. he showed the bills and his number and the old woman shoutet out angry and send him away. but before she shouted his number. after a bit more than 10 minutes, the boy came back and tried again and the old woman shouted + scolded, why he didn't came to pick up his chips. the boy was near tears! and this is only one story.
