C Beach Club — Restaurant in Bel Ombre

Firstly, I have to say this place is beautiful. Great place to just chill and relax with large pool and the beach just a stones throw away. However, today's visit was hugely let down by the poor service, below average food and watered down drinks. When we first checked in we were told they had ran out of towels and we just had to make do! Only after making a bit of a fuss did the magically find a few, not enough for all of us but better than nothing! A beach club running out of towels - wow! So we got shown to the lounging area by the pool and had to wait 30 minutes for our "welcome" drinks. Personally I wouldn't bother, just order your main drinks because ours arrived 30 minutes after we ordered. We had Campari and Aperol spritzers which were so watered down we may as well have ordered some Evian. I strongly believe my wife and I have kept Campari in business for the past 20 years so we kinda know what it should taste like. To be fair they did rectify this as soon as we complained - but why, in such a nice place would you even do that!! Lunch was Caesar salad and pizza's. Don't hold your breath - you're definitely not going to want to come here for the food. In summary great location, great facilities let down by sloppy service, poor food and lots of cutting corners. Given the past few positive reviews posted here I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt - but just manage your expectations and you should have...

C-Beach have offered some of the best range of food on the resort for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

We’ve had several wonderful dining experiences at C-Beach over the course of our two week stay at Telfair; particularly when the below staff have been on shift.

Special thanks to Jhanvee (so hard working and enthusiastic), Maribella, Aurielle & Dhivek, to name a few (and others) for making our experiences so enjoyable.

The staff on many of our visits have been extremely accommodating and friendly towards us, especially to our toddler. He’s been very well looked after.

On a couple of occasions the staff have gone above and beyond to squeeze us in for a last minute booking and arranged a takeaway when my partner was feeling slightly under the weather.

Buffet brunches here are a must visit too!! The selection of foods are AMAZING.

The food is very good, but with the price also my expections were a little bit higher. The Service was perfect. The display of the food and drinks was very appealing.

My 🍔 was just as expected. Still very good (A-) and medium as ordered. The burger could have been more fancy, modern style.

The dessert was very good! no but. ;) The same with cocktails. Just excellent.

I had mixed feelings with the starter. The Seafood broth: the fish inside was awesome, the squid chewy and tasted like water, the mussels were ok, the shrimps were good. The total liquid in the broth was just maybe 10 spoons. The bowl was only coverd. The bowl itself was cold. 1min and the erverything inside was cold to.
