The price for a stay at this very luxurious villa is cheap with respect to its quality and offerings.

However, customers should be very much aware of certain important aspects which they should consider before reserving a villa at Valriche.

No garage is available in any villa, so don't take your good car to this place as it will be kept outside in the open air under sun and rains. Pollution is also there.

Be careful when you use the bathroom as it's the same as if you are bathing publicly outside in the open air. The doors and windows are visible from outside and people can easily see you.

Your bedroom cannot be locked from inside the room. So honeymooners should be very cautious because kids and guests can accidentally enter the room surprisingly.

There is a big barbecue oven outside in the lawn but you need to bring your personal fog light to operate the ovens there is no light in the garden.

The heritage villa yard is so big in size that you may get lost in it. You will have to learn the plan and site and location plan by heart a week in advance before you go and reside there. If you know the site plan well, you may take 15 minutes by car to travel from your villa to the main entrance and if you are lost it may take you even 45-60 mins. You have strange pathways and there is absolutely no signage to guide you.

The road is so narrow that you can't bring big cars as it is very difficult to have two way traffic on it. They will horn everytime to move your car. So bring your smallest cars.

The buggy is placed in a way that it blocks your entrance completely. So you should be careful of not getting injured on the way.

Check in time and formalities are so complicated and time consuming that you would lose 2-3 hours out of your stay for stupid things. The check in and out are done on a different site which is 1-2 kms away from your villa.

The guarantee you will need to give on check in is Rs 10,000 per villa separately. You can't break or damage any property or else you are confiscated your deposit. However if your personal stuff and own properties are lost or damaged you can't ask for any compensation.

Otherwise service rooms and amenities are very good.

We stayed at this hotel in a villa from 07.01 to 19.01. The hotel has a luxurious area with golf courses, very well-groomed, with many flowers and plants around, beautiful flower beds and fountains. There are several restaurants on the territory, and we especially liked La Chateau. Annabelle has an excellent buffet breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Now, as for the downsides, it was very surprising that in a hotel of this level and price category, they do not provide free water in the villa. I have been to many places, and in warm countries, they replenish the supply of fresh water every day.

Another thing that greatly spoiled the overall impression of the holiday was an incident that occurred upon departure. When you leave the villa, a hotel manager comes to check if everything is in order with the villa. When he came, we were all getting ready to leave, working, and no one went after him. He found a cut on the fabric right in the center of the chair. This was the central chair that we regularly used, and there were no cuts on it on the day of departure. How it appeared there right before our departure is a mystery. After that, we were billed 300 euros because, of course, there is no such fabric on the island anymore, and all chairs will have to be reupholstered with something new.

So my advice to guests is not to leave this manager's side if you don't want the villa to be renovated at your expense. This situation greatly upset us and spoiled our impression, even though the penalty was insignificant compared to the amount we paid for accommodation. It was a very strange position for a hotel of this level to handle...
