Our family dinner at this restaurant was a disappointing experience that left us feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. The evening started off on the wrong foot with the restaurant being noticeably understaffed. This resulted in a lack of attention from the waitstaff and a slow service that did not meet our expectations.

Adding to the frustration was the fact that our order was processed incorrectly. This not only delayed our meal but also created unnecessary confusion and stress. To make matters worse, the food items listed on the menu were not available, leaving us with limited options and adding to the disappointment. This was particularly inconvenient for the children and elderly members of our family, who found the place inappropriate for their needs.

The time it took from placing the order to the delivery of the food was unreasonably long, making the dining experience feel like an eternity. The service was so poor that we were actually suggested to visit another restaurant, 'La Fourchette', within the same compound.

In conclusion, the experience was far from the enjoyable family dinner we had envisioned. The poor service, incorrect order processing and the inappropriate setting for children and elderly left a sour taste in our mouths. We were even suggested to dine at 'La Fourchette' by the staff,, which was the final straw in an already disappointing experience.

My recent visit to IZUMI was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped in, the warm ambiance and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for an unforgettable evening.

The food was absolutely phenomenal. Each dish was a testament to the chef’s expertise and creativity. We started with the appetizers—delicate, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. The main courses were equally impressive; the steak was cooked to perfection, the seafood was fresh and succulent, and the vegetarian options were bursting with flavor. The desserts were the cherry on top the Triology Ice Cream.

What truly elevated the experience was the outstanding service provided by Mr. Sean, Jairish, Jeff, and Christy. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Jeff recommendations were spot-on. Christy’s cheerful demeanor added a personal touch that made us feel like valued guests.

Overall, IZUMI is a gem that I can’t recommend enough. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food and top-notch service, this is it. A big thank you to the entire team for making our evening so special. We’ll definitely be back!

Izumi is a Japanese restaurant that I have visited on four occasions, but unfortunately, the services and food quality have not improved. During my most recent visit, I ordered fried rice with tuna, but it was overcooked, and the tuna was quite dry. Additionally, the salmon seemed to have been stored for a long time, which was not very appetizing.

Furthermore, as usual, I noticed that the waiters tend to treat foreigners differently. While the table next to us received excellent service, we were left to serve ourselves from the bottle. To make matters worse, we were assigned a small table, and every time a dish was served, we had to help the waiter move glasses and plates to make space.

The Aperol spritz I ordered was barely sparkling (maybe an old bottle of Prosecco) and had little ice, and there was no orange slice. The waiters also seemed unfamiliar with some dishes on the menu, and we had to google them. Although it was amusing, it was not a pleasant experience.

Overall, I were barely satisfied during our visit to Izumi as a Japanese restaurant option. There are much better Japanese restaurants available on the island with better services and...
