Le Goulet Beach — Attraction in Isle Mauritius

Our experience differed a lot from what people said here. Looking for a quiet, secluded, pretty and clean beach we found a very dirty beach with plastic trash all over the place, cleaning staff with quite overwhelming manpower yet sleeping and chatting instead of picking up the trash around them, a huge construction site opposite the beach causing noise, big cranes behind the trees to your left etc.. Except for all these people it was, after all, quite lonesome there, but for a good reason. So we left right away after taking a walk along the shore. It was a rather bizarre experience and I want to do the next person a favor by advising them to skip this beach as it can't live up to expectations created in the review section here.
