Tribecca is nice, a huge building, a massive hypermarket if I can say so. It is nicely placed in the middle of MAURITIUS, big ick is that getting there by bus is easy from port Louis but from there to port Louis, there is no bus. The food court is nice and varies from Chinese to indian to American to simple Mama Bao (which is halaal btw if you want to give it a try, for me I love it, psst crispy one is best). You have a big winners with promotional price most of the time in the ranges. It is big with many shops offering clothes, and other local enterprise for jewelry. There is toilet access easily and most of the time they are clean. You have maxcity as well, where you can take your kids or adults even for some events to play games such as mini gold, bowling and arcade games, sorry peeps it is not a casino π€£. The issues for me is the food court, it is at the end of the building which can be seen far for some people and in peak hours it get crowded and you will need to find place to sit. Yes you do have KFC which is in the parking and mcdo which is at the food court itself but why eat those when you can have better and tastier food just some miles forward. You have a little cafe isolated as well in tribecca which is nice to grab a coffee of a bite with nice sitting arrangements if we can say so. You do have a cafe as well in winners which is nice. Another issue for me is the bus transport , as I travel mostly by bus it is not convenient for me to travel back and forth from tribecca with no access to good transport transition. What would be nice is to have a system like the metro express where you can see which bus is about to come and have you pick, the bus stop is kind of not optimal in case of rain, and yes there is most of the time rain there. But overall it is nice there, a nice place to visit with friends and family, but don't expect cheap prices, it is a mall and yes most things are you expensive. Cheers guys and...

Β Β Β Read moreSlow, painstakingly slow. Service at all food outlets are desperately let down by their small cooking area and queue lengths can't belie the underlying lack of planning of this space - the food type being served is too 'gourmet', which implies quite long preparation times that are not suited for this Mauritian environment characterised by easy, on-the-spot service.
To compound this, the space is dark and cramped, despite the unparalleled floor-to-ceiling height. Designers here have totally botched the feeling of sophistication that permeates elsewhere in that mall - it's just too slow to accommodate that magnitude of footfalls that this space is yet to attract.
Ah, yes, be reminded that this whole thing has not yet been fully finished (fit-out works on the first floor are still outstanding - upon completion, they are bound to attract even more people...), which means that the crowding here will become...
