Sushi Me — Restaurant in Moka

We ordered Menu B and Menu C, which included sushi, gyoza, beef, and salmon. Unfortunately, the overall quality was disappointing. The sushi was underwhelming — the mayonnaise tasted like it came from a low-quality supermarket jar and overpowered the other flavours. Some pieces were overly salty and had a strong fishy taste. One sushi was meant to include a truffle-flavoured oyster sauce, but there was no trace of truffle in either the taste or aroma.

The salmon was bland and also had a noticeably fishy aftertaste. The beef was very chewy and lacked flavour. The only highlight was the gyozas.

Considering the price, the value just isn’t there — other places like Sushi Park offer better quality at a lower cost. This used to be a great spot, especially when there was a Japanese chef in the kitchen last year, but the standards have clearly dropped.

Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend it anymore....

One of the best Sushi restaurants in Mauritius. Really good quality fish and the presentation is spot on.

Service is also pretty good and the staff are attentive.

The Salmon Lovers is one amazing meal, definitely must try.

Avoid their Sunday buffet, no Salmon selection!! And the food isnt really good and its pricey. Around $30 per person for quite basic Sushi.

This place would get 5 stars but the price is seriously expensive!!! Dinner for 2 with drinks, thats about $90-100. That's reflected when the restaurant was about 25% filled for dinner service.

Absolutely great food - we loved the tempuras and sushi rolls. The menu is varied and has a lot of options for ramen and sushis. Quite pricey but the quality of food and ingredient was very good. However we felt the table setting could be improved and minus point for the service given that it is of hotel standard.
