INDYA — Restaurant in Le Morne

As a visiting family of six, including our eight-month-old grandbaby, we had the pleasure of dining at Simply India, the Indian restaurant at the St. Regis Hotel in Le Morne—and it was truly a memorable evening! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was calm and welcoming, with elegant decor and a soothing vibe that made us feel instantly comfortable. Even with a small child in tow, the staff was incredibly accommodating and considerate, making sure we felt at ease throughout the meal. Their kindness and attentiveness added a personal touch that made the experience even more special. The food was outstanding—each dish beautifully plated and packed with authentic flavors. From fragrant curries to delicate tandoori preparations, every bite showcased the chef’s skill in Indian cuisine. The perfect balance of spices, freshness of ingredients, and attention to detail was impressive. Despite varied tastes at the table, everyone found something to enjoy. Dining at Simply India was more than just a meal—it was a celebration of hospitality, flavor, and warmth. We left feeling fulfilled in every way and would gladly return on our next trip...

Simply India is an amazing restaurant. At the beginning we were asked about allergies. Food was extremely good. I had butter chicken with garlic naan and tomato soup as a starter. Both were wonderful, the best butter chicken I’ve ever had. Customer service out of scale. The most friendly and helpful waitresses ever! My boyfriend had a birthday so I asked if some cake with birthday candles is possible to serve. It was possible and the cake was soo tasty. We also get birthday champagne. We weren’t charged for both and it made us really surprised. Cocktails were amazing too, especially one with coconut and pineapple. I highly recommend...

Known as "Indya" now ....serves Absolutely delicious food! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavours and cooked to perfection. Hands down, one of the best Indian cuisines I’ve had recently! The Raj Kachori and Seekh Kabab Bao are especially memorable and a Must try! From appetizers to desserts, this restaurant exceeded more than our expectations!
