The Oyster Bar — Restaurant in Moka

Food was not worth the price. We took the grilled salmon and the grilled Lobster. And some mussels on the side. As well as a salad mix. First of all, I think we waited nearly an hour to be served. We were given two oysters as complimentary amuse bouche. Those were okay. The salmon as well as the rice that we took as add on was bland. The Lobster tail was also bland and definitely not grilled. If no sauce was added to the dish, you would probably not taste a thing. It was very disappointing. The mussels were not fresh at all - real shame. When we went to pay (bill wasnt cheap at all) we realised that there was more dishes (not on the menu) and when we asked why we weren't proposed the dishes on that board, the lady told us because we were only two, she didn't propose the corn fish nor the grilled octopus. I didnt understand why - we were both very disappointed as we specifically asked at the start if there was any other menu which they recommended. I wouldn't recommend to anyone - not worth the wait...

While our waitress provided appallingly poor service – misplacing our order, causing an excessive wait of over an hour and a half, and exhibiting a consistently dismissive and unapologetic attitude – the quality of the food itself did manage to partially compensate. The meal was good, and the wait, though unacceptable, was somewhat mitigated by the eventual enjoyment of the food. However, this does not excuse the truly dreadful service we received. The waitress's incompetence and unprofessionalism left a lasting negative impression, which will not erase the memory of the frustrating and unpleasant experience. Improved staff training and better management oversight are urgently needed to ensure that other diners don't suffer the same level of poor service. Credit to the gentleman who works with her, he was concerned enough to realise there was room for improvement and apologized. The waitress however is definitely a liability to the...

Absolutely Outstanding! 🔥

From the moment we walked in, everything was simply excellent — the service was warm and attentive, the atmosphere was cozy yet elegant, and the staff made us feel truly welcomed.

But the real star of the show? The food. We had a beautiful seafood platter (see photo 😍) featuring perfectly grilled fish, juicy prawns, tender calamari, and flavorful mussels, all cooked to perfection with just the right seasoning. Every bite was a delight — fresh, vibrant, and satisfying. The touch of lemon and herbs brought everything together beautifully.
