Great place, calm and remote to all kind of noise pollution. Well maintained. It has its washroom, kids playground with benches and a kiosque with sitting.. ideal for meal. The parking is outside on the roads but it is quite safe, it has security guards at the doors and not to forget the giant tortoise park! Can improve on the grass maintenance. Had a great time with family last Sunday..

Espace très bien entretenu, vert et très agréable pour se balader tranquillement en famille, en amoureux, avec des amis ou seul. Les jeux et autres éléments de loisirs sont en bon état général. On peut aussi y voir des tortues géantes et parfois des oiseaux rares!! Tout simplement magnifique : un grand terrain de jeux avec toboggan, balançoire et autres jeux pour enfants. Le jardin dispose aussi d'un kiosque bien aménagé pour s'abriter et/ou de pique-niquer. Des installations pour l'endurance des sportifs sont aussi disponibles. Les chanceux pourront peut-être voir des singes qui s'y aventurent parfois. Le plus du plus : une très belle vue sur la cascade Balfour depuis le jardin. Des toilettes sont également disponibles. Le jardin ouvre dès 5h du matin et reste ouvert jusqu'à 20h30. Parking : il est possible de se garer en dehors sur la route. Bref, un jardin très complet en pleine ville qui mérite le détour. Bravo à la mairie de Beau-Bassin/Rose-Hill pour ces efforts afin d'offrir un tel jardin au grand public.

A seemingly peaceful place if you wish for some quiet! Busy in the morning and afternoon with several inhabitants coming for their daily walk routines. You have to mind the monkeys if you are planning to have a mini lunch/picnic.

There was a lot of enhancement compared to what it was years ago. There are equipments for training and even a security officer at the entrance. I recommend for relaxation.

This is an excellent initiative and is very convenient for those wishing to keep fit. The enclosed area of the recreational park has well laid out, well-maintained pathways, and one loop is roughly 500m. For those wishing to run, I recommend using the bicycle park. However, it is outside the actual enclosure of the park, but there are clearly marked green pathways that take you through a residential area until you get to the clearly marked end of the pathway. Following the path from the start of the green pathway (near the gate of the park) all the way to the end of the pathway, and then back again, is just under 5km. One more loop around the pathway around the park will give you your 5km. Very convenient! One word of caution, though: run with a stick (or 2). There are packs of aggressive dogs that loiter around one section of the pathway, where there is no one on sight if its early morning, and they come at you from all sides, much like hyenas. I won't lie. I thought I was going to be bitten. It was terrifying. It also slowed down my time because I was trying to fend them off instead of running. I did report it to the front gate, but it did not look like there was much that could be done Other than that, I was very satisfied with this place, and I will certainly be back (with my sticks).

After 3 months I went back for my morning walks at the park and was hugely disappointed at the maintenance of the park. It is in a very very bad state full of over green weeds and trash of plants not thrown away.. I strongly believe a public park should be well Kept in all situations all year round. I humbly request those in charge to do the necessary to employ full time garderner for the upkeep of the park. With the trash all Over the walking area the citizens are finding it difficult to do their walks or jogs. Thank you. Dr. (Mrs.) Weena Desai

It is quite small and there is not a great range of exercise activities available. One lap around the park covers just about 700 metres. Don't expect facilities comparable to Candos Wellness Park as the concept is quite different. Having taken that into account it is a pleasant place to sit, relax, chill and admire the landscape. Good views on the Corps de Garde as well as Port Louis/Moka Range. There's a selection of endemic plants

Went to the park, spend a lovely time their. But i don't see why to prohibite the use of bicycle and skate, you could do a lane (parcours) only for bicycle and a place only for skatters so there will be no accident and will increase its popularity. You should also put "des abris" against rain. But overall superb !

A great park! A pleasure to see such new parks developed in Mauritius. I think in 5 years time, when the trees and vegetation will grow bigger, it will be really superbe. My family and I really enjoyed it. Only one thing : it would have been better to put wodden bins instead of those ugly concrete ones...

First thing to point out you need substantial footwear, flip flops are not really appropriate. We left the car at the dead end at the roundabout and using Google maps navigated through the sugarcane fields like it was a maze. It is about a 15-minute walk from the roundabout to the waterfall. At the edge of the sugarcane plantation the fauna and track changes. Heading towards the waterfall gets more difficult being steep and rocky. Once at the waterfall the track down is slippery and damp to the bottom. Once there you can get across to the other side by taking your shoes and socks off and wading through the water, holding a makeshift rope. From there you can see the waterfall in its full splendour. It is worth the effort and it is free although a bit of a trek.

Awesome place in the middle of Mauritius near Telfair, Moka. There is a small walk (1KM) around the sugar cane fields and some slippery walk to the bottom of the falls. But all in all a great experience. Better in the mornings. It could be tricky to find the way back in the evening once the sun goes down. Follow Google maps and I will point the right direction.

Beautiful waterfall. Easy to find it from Pwc building. Here park the car and then go ahead to the sugarcane field. Use navigation for direction to waterfall. It’s about 20 mins from PwC buliding. If you want to clean the place please bring a rubbish bag with you. Take the water shoes because you have to brade the river but nothing dangerous.

Worth a visit to this scenic place near the Moka centre. Some people also swim at this spot. Accessible after 30mins wall in the sugar cane fields. The spot can be quite busy on weekends and public holidays.

Easy walk to a beautiful waterfall. Park at the roundabout and walk straight out. Look out for the rocks painted red and turn left. Follow them to lead you out and down to the waterfall.
