We had an amazing meal at 7 Seas, which was a highlight of our Los Cabos vacation. Upon arriving, the hostess asked us if we were celebrating a special occasion and whether anyone in our party had dietary restrictions. Our server welcomed us and gave me a tour of the menu options that worked for me (GF and no corn), although the menu was already well marked. We enjoyed the view of the beach, the surfers, whales breaching, and the sunset while dining on the tuna tartar trinity and tempura calamari to start, followed by a catch of the day, mezcal shrimp, and angel hair pasta. Unrequested but delightful was an octopus ceviche amuse bouche and a starfruit sorbet palate cleanser in between our first and second courses. All three of us ordered dessert (chocolate souffle and Cabo lime pie) but the dessert sampler - featuring five mini desserts - stole the show. (I recommend getting it so you can try all the desserts!) And then, if that wasn't enough, our server brought us two mini red velvet cupcakes (for my husband and daughter) and a mini sorbet for me! The service was extremely attentive without being pretentious. Everything we ordered was delicious. This place is a gem that offers great value for your money. Next time we're back it will be to stay at the Cabo Surf Hotel as well. This place...

The outdoor restaurant overlooking the beach was really nice. The service was below average for a restaurant at this price point. They have a surf and turf option where you can pick each and they charged $33 extra if you got the lobster tail which was a bit much for the size. A different water brought us tuna mousse on a chip, "compliments of the chef" that tasted like creamed can tuna. We grilled tuna out the night before that tasted so much better! This was followed by coconut sorbet, gag! Dinner came out and despite the fact we both had filets, I had to ask for steak knives so we could cut our meat instead of biting off pieces. I asked them to hold the cooked spinach as it creates a gagging reflex I can't control. Guess what was sitting under my lobster tail? Lobster was flavorless, fortunately the potatoes had enough butter some was left on the plate for me to drag m bites of lobster through. Desert was probably the best, we had the molten lava cake. We waited forever to get our bill. Our waiter never came o check on dinner after a few bites to make sure everything was ok. Disappointing to drop $170+ tip on...

A friend recommended 7 Seas, and we are so happy he did. We had requested outdoor seating when we made the reservation, and when the called to ask if we wanted to sit on the beach, we were thinking they meant a table on the patio near the sand. We were so wrong, and it was really cool!

They have several fish options on the menu, primarily consisting of either sea bass or tuna when we were there. We had all picked out what we wanted, but when the waiter came over, we asked about the "Surprise me Chef" item on the menu. The waiter said that he had no idea because the chef creates something new every day, so you just pick your type of fish and he will make something special. Of course, we all decided we wanted to have the mystery dinner and it was great!

The only downside of the visit was that the service was SO SLOW! The waiter hardly ever came over, and everything took a long time between ordering and having it brought to the table. Luckily, it was very nice just sitting on the beach, so we were able to enjoy the surroundings while we waiting of our food and drinks...

We have been here twice. The first time was upstairs on the deck. This time we were front row on the beach watching surfers. The good: complimentary appetizer and desert (tiny). It was chilly so they offer blankets ( we didn't use because um don't think they are cleaned each use). They brought a heat lamp. The wait staff was very friendly. The food was felicious and they pay attention to food allergies! The bad: Everything took forever to come out. The capuccino I requested turned out to be a watered down latte. We were there for 3 hours! Ridiculous. The ugly: The table was too close to the surfers chilling on the beach smoking and I am allergic to cigarettes. Overall, I do like this place a lot. You get a nice experience of outdoor dinning with a view, relaxed atmosphere and yummy food. All for less than what some people pay additional for dinning or the beach. Table of 3 for $200 not bad considering everything we ate and drank. I didn't get to photo everything because I was enjoying myself.
