Agua is wonderful. The force you to slow down. They walk you to your table slowly and then you are never rushed. The quality of the food is high. The preparation was great. The oysters and the duck empanada were fantastic. The salads were both well prepared. The kids loved the churros, ice cream, and Nutella brownie. Adults loved the mango sorbet. We had 3 types of margaritas that were delicious tamarind, spicy Reyes, and one with watermelon juice. The only thing that would lower the rating is that we had to track the servers down to order dessert and then to pay. We were there for a later lunch and they seemed to have forgotten about us by that time. Still the atmosphere is lovey, beautiful jungle like garden around, lovely decor, relaxing environment. Do not make reservations at this place!!! My family got an unexpected stomach bug while visiting Cabo San Lucas. Around 7pm the night prior we booked a reservations at this restaurant while everyone was still feeling well. That night my family member was throwing up violently for hours and so the next morning as soon as we woke up we called to cancel. They still charged our card $25 per person ($100) even though we were cancelling because we did not want to expose anyone at this restaurant to this stomach bug. We even explained our situation and they still refused to waive the cancellation fee. I’d rather go to 7 Seas which is close to this location and has just as nice as an ambiance. We stayed at the One and Only Palmilla for our honeymoon and the entire experience was incredible. We started our mornings with breakfast at Agua. Everything from the smoothies, to the Mexican style breakfast, to the french toast was amazing. We looked forward to the breakfast everyday.

Fernando greeted us when we came to the pool in the afternoons. His smiling face and kind demeanor was always appreciated and welcoming. The guys at the bar- Hector, Victor, and Sebastian- were also incredible and very attentive to our needs. There were also many other staff at the pool that checked on us regularly and made sure we had cold waters constantly.
