Marzalao Wild Gastrobar — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

I've always loved this spot and their rebrand / change of ownership has proved to be a serious upgrade on the food. Atmosphere is still gorgeous cardon cacti all around with an upscale rustic atmosphere. Cocktails are high end for La Ventana and tasty. Tacosta and fish risotto were the best items I came across. Fusilli with tuna was great too. I'd pass on the creme brulee (more of a key lime yogurt taste) but I'm sure other desserts are good when they have them. The atmosphere of Marzalao was enough to keep me coming back several times throughout my stay. Eating upstairs amongst the Cacti around sunset was absolutely spectacular. I will say I had varying levels of service experience though with one night ordering dinner and receiving it promptly within 15/20 minutes and another night when there was a handful of tables it took an hour for my meal and they were out of several dishes.
