Pizzeria El Potrero — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

What a cool little pizzeria, All outdoors and very eclectic in open dining. Brick oven for pizza. Met Felipe and Omar - of course very nice and very friendly. We had the Italiano pizza and it was excellent. Very generous toppings. Also had the Caesar salad and loved the mix on fresh ingredients. A little ways from the highway about 1km but we added the road in Google Street Views to make it easier to find. We recommend this place and will certainly return again soon. 9/22 UPDATE: We have eaten here now 3 times, 2 for take out and one dine-in. I ordered the Italiano with anchovies. Once again the pizza was 5 star. One issue we had however were the dozens and dozens of flies. We tried covering with napkins but they kept coming. The waitress gave a lit sterno can dry rosemary to create smoke but did little and the rosemary quickly burnt off. If eating outside (it's all open air) I would ask to have your pizza delivered in a box rather than a plate. Still giving...

Such a great place to enjoy some fine wood fire cooked pizza. Ask for the crispy crust if you like. The atmosphere is fantastic sitting under the trees on the old farmstead. * The pastas are fantastic! I love the chicken chipotle but last night I broke tradition and had the pesto linguini with shrimp. Can't say enough about how good. Potrero is fantastic and the portions are large too. And the salads!!! Large enough to share Thanks for the great food! Dining by yourself or with a large group its all good. 2 thumbs up Some excellent music on special nights also...

We loved this rural restaurant with its friendly service. We (group of 4) were intrigued by the different variety of pizzas. We ordered a Mediterranean salad, which was large, a Margarita pizza, Pesto pizza, and both had fresh basil on it. The gorgonzola pear with spinach and walnut pizza was different and tasty, like a salad on a nice crust. We shared everything. The crust was nice, thin, and perfectly cooked in the wood oven. We really enjoyed the food, highly recommend this restaurant,and will definitely come...
