Get lost in rustic boho desert vibes with a fine dining experience. As you step down into the seating area cradled by rocks and a cacti garden as sit you will be greeted with fire inside a mortar filled with Rosemary to add to the flame as you soak in this laid back atmosphere. As the smoke drifts through the air the dancing shadows of cats and cacti surround the seating areas giving a mystical and intimate connection to the location. The drinks are alchemy at its finest using high quality fruits and spirits of the Baja. Mixtures of prickly pear, tamarind, or passion fruit and many more for a tasteFULL mezcalita. The food is created with heart and soul inside an airstream bus lit up with neon signs as well as outdoors in a brick oven. My favorites were rack of lamb, pork chops, and seared tuna. If you are there for lunch the area is more uplifting and the waygu beef burger is outstanding. Whatever calls you on the menu get it, you can’t go wrong with anything as this place is noticeably crafted. The sights, sounds, smells, taste and feel of this place all have over the top effort and detail put into them. Last and most importantly to the staff, thank you for the attention, thought and care you put in everyday to connect me and others to this location… Jeezal you are the leader and righteously. I am grateful to have experienced this unique tribe of souls truly making this a masterpiece of a restaurant. Bless everyone involved...
Read moreThis is easily my top restaurant experience of the last year. I feel the pictures almost do it justice but knowing the memories of the flavors it really doesn’t. In my mind, restaurants are meant to create more than just a meal but a true dining experience. And that is exactly what you’ll get from here and more. We stopped here during a food tour de Pescadero and I just wish we had more time to be able to eat there for a full meal. We started with a unbelievable cocktail: Passionfruit margaritas that hit.the.spot! Then Chef came to introduce us to the spot and review the menu. We cooed over the beautiful landscaping and he spoke about their vision of creating a canyon - which it really does feel like. He then checked our preferences and allergies and then asked if he could provide us a true dining experience. Now… who can deny that?? Our appetizer spread was to die for. We overindulged and honestly couldn’t get over the amazing combination of flavors and presentation. It was a meal for the books. Do not come to the area without coming through here. Next time we plan to stay at the hotel as well. It’s quite pricey, but if it’s anything like the restaurant, it will be worth it. Highly, highly recommend. Can’t...
Read moreGreat place! Love the atmosphere of being tucked into a small canyon with the perfect blend of neon and dimmer lights. Cozy, quiet, and romantic but could also support a casual lunch or dinner out. Sashimi was wonderful. We aren't usually fans of fried fish tacos because of the breading, but Coyote's were wonderful! Literally dreamt and them and had to come back for round two of these perfectly coated medallions of yellow tail with well crafted accompaniments. Cocktails were also lovely - try a pina colada with avocado and the hibiscus mezcalita. Can't forget the service. Alfredo is literally one of a kind and we were so happy to see him on our return visit. The other servers and staff were super friendly and...
