I've had a chance to try the food here and, overall, it's been good. However, the early morning service has left me underwhelmed. Despite the sign showing the hours of operation from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., I've arrived here at around 7:00 a.m. on several occasions, only to experience a delayed start. The gate wasn't opened until 15 minutes past the scheduled opening time, and to make matters worse, the staff would tell me that it would be a while before they could start taking orders due to the grill needing time to heat up.
As someone who doesn't eat out frequently but treats themselves when possible, it was frustrating to have my expectations shattered. Since I'm coming to the establishment for a morning pick-me-up on my way to work, I'm expecting a smooth ordering experience. While I appreciate the cashier's politeness, being told it would be 15 minutes for the grill to heat up and then another wait for the food to be prepared was more than I was willing to wait, especially when I was in a hurry.
While the cashier was polite and provided clear communication, I couldn't help but feel disappointed. If they had given me a heads-up on the kitchen's readiness, say between 7:30 a.m. and 7:45 a.m., I would have understood and adjusted my expectations accordingly.
Instead, being caught off guard made it difficult for me to have a pleasant start to my day. That being said, I'm willing to give this place another try, but only past 8:00 a.m. to see if the early morning service has improved. I hope that with some adjustments, they'll be able to better meet the expectations of customers like me who are looking for a quick and satisfying...
Read moreWas looking forward to eating here and heard good reviews for vegetarian options. Arrived and explained at the counter (in English and Spanish) that my partner was vegetarian, and if the eggs benedict would be an ok option for her. They confirmed that would be fine. The coffee was quite good, as was the croissant we got. But they forgot the rest of our order, and we waited for quite a while before asking if this was being made. It eventually came, but the eggs benedict was prepared with meat. We explained again that my partner was vegetarian (again, in Spanish as well) and the server seemed exasperated and asked if we wanted just tomatoes with eggs then before taking the order back. Eventually got a vegetarian eggs benedict with some avocado, but it had absolutely no seasoning. Went up to ask for salt and pepper, the server gestured somewhere but there was none, when asked again he called to the kitchen for salt and pepper, but nothing came at all. Ended up going somewhere else that had no vegetarian options on menu but was more accommodating anyways. Wanted to like this place, but the service was pretty poor and the price doesn't justify the quality of food. You can get much better for cheaper...
Read moreA friend of ours who lives in Cabo, took us to the Baja Bean for a Coffee while on our way to an amazing Breakfast at the LA Garita.
The Coffee I/we had was absolutely amazing, and definitely the best Coffee I ever had by a long shot.
The Staff is incredibly friendly and very gracious, and sitting outside was nice and pleasant.
All around the little area are people selling amazing local crafts, and also their own home grown produce amongst the Mango 🥭 Trees.
You can actually see all the grown produce before you walk in through the front entrance, as you park your vehicle.
If you're even close to this little wonder gem of a place, then it's a must stop for the most amazing Coffee.
Cheers from Vancouver...
