Food looked better than what it tasted. Yes instagram post worthy, but left my tastebuds blueballed. I expected more. You can’t have a classy spot and messy food, the two don’t mix like water and oil. I ordered the Memelitas de Pulpo y chicharron. Very messy, and I couldn’t distinguish the taste of both the pulpo or chicharron, it was almost flavorless, the sope overpowered all flavors, I had to dip it in lemon and salsa just to eat it. The tacos de Camaron were also not the best. Too much tortilla and too little toppings. I had to eat the head of the camaron just to enjoy the 2/3 of bare tortilla, if I had known how much tortilla I’d be served, I’d bring my own shrimp. Service was okay, servers were just on their phone I was thinking of adding him on instagram and shooting him a Direct Message just to get the check in a timely manner. Place was kind of cool; I liked the pottery. 4/10....

One of the best breakfast spots in all of Tijuana. It’s very quaint, and the dining room is basically the living room and kitchen of a house. The decorations and dishes are really pleasant as well.

The food is second to none. They carry a lot of the TJ breakfast staples, but they’re a notch up from most places. Flavor profiles are near perfect. The salsas are also great, especially the habanero.

I highly recommend coming by for breakfast. A real gem of a restaurant with a great cook and great staff.

If you come a bit later, there is a unique and flavorful cocktail menu as well!

Update: Back again and it’s still god-tier. I absolutely love this place! They’ve upgraded a bit since I was last here and installed a new counter with nice refrigerators. Still cannot recommend it enough—I’ve brought friends from San Diego, LA, and...

Not recommended… I just hate it so much when a waiter is in a rush for you to leave! We got there one hour before closing and if they didn’t want to serve us anymore they should have told us! I live in Tijuana and was waiting for longest time to go try this restaurant but was totally disappointed, the food was ok, the drinks ok and the customer service was bad. We asked about what was in a plate and the server looked at us kinda like: really you guys don’t know what that is? I’m sorry but not all the customers know the names of different kind of foods or plates. We went there for lunch and maybe breakfast is better but not coming back… Sometimes it’s more important for the food to taste good and not so much...
