Moora Hospedaje — Hotel in Baja California

I stumbled on this little hidden gem on my first trip to Tijuana. Best decision! The place is located in a quiet street, 500m away from the football stadium and the shopping mall. From the shopping mall, you can catch any big taxi to go to the city for less than a 1$ or come back to the shopping mall and from there just walk back(the city is 10minutes away-3km). The accommodation I booked was a suite with a private bathroom. The room was spacious, the bathroom also was spacious. From my window, I was able to watch the sunset and sunrise everyday sitting in my yoga poses. There is a kitchen, a living room and a huge terrace to share with other guests visiting. The common area has a peaceful touch with a piano where you can relax, play, read or listen to music. As for the kitchen, you can enjoy the sun while drinking your coffee. I truly enjoyed my peaceful and quiet days here. The best part of this hidden place is the host Carmen and her lovely dogs; Lola and Napoléon. During my stay, Carmen was available to show me around with other guests the other side of Tijuana. She helped me get around, had time to grab a beer and to tell me more about her place. She is just incredible. And if you are a dog lover, Lola and Napoléon are going to steal your heart. Moora is more a HOME & less a house ! I was warmly greeted & immediately made to feel at home by our gracious host CARMEN. The house is adorned with tasteful details , furnishings & inspiring spaces . CARMEN organized hikes , vineyard tours , local gastronomy outings etc which made my stay a rewarding & pleasant experience . My Stay in Moora is the one of my best experience in my life.
