Be prepared to pay more for your stay than originally quoted over the phone/email. We got 2 rooms were told $80 a night (each) when we arrived we were told $125 a night, we ended up staying 2 nights and canceled the rest. Everything is in American Dollars! The rooms were decent, beds were comfortable and clean, the sink faucet was loose to the point that we thought we were going to yank it out. Shower was clean towels and toiletries provided. !! Place a chair in front of door because those locks are easily open with a little bit of pressure on the outside with any key!! Found that out when I locked my key inside and used a key from the other room to open it. Note that they were 2 completely different sized keys. The people are friendly. SEPARATE FROM HOTEL: If you’re going for the fishing aspect, they will criticize your gear so that you can rent theirs and tell you the fishing is good when it’s extremely choppy waters for the area. Not worth...
Read moreOVERPRICED Hotel!!! We arrived Bahai De Los Angeles late at 8pm and we followed travelers suggestion to not drive at night in Mexico and decided to stay overnight at their hotel.
Super basic room with 3 queen bed, hot shower and aircon, cost us USD$85 per night, while you need to paid an extra for their WiFi which actually very slow and not really work!
We did not try their restaurant so can not give any insight about their menu! The surrounding neighborhood are convenient thought as they have everything including mini market etc.
PS If you need place to stay, suggest you to drive back to the city entrance and turn right at roundabout [in maximum 9 minutes drive] you will have an opportunity to find hotel equipped with fridge, full kitchen plus huge balcony facing the beach and will cost you same...
Read moreThe service was good and friendly. The food was okay although the tostadas seem to use canned chicken. My wife's ceviche was pretty good. We ordered a few sparkling lime sodas, called limonadas. It's a common drink in this part of a Mexico and contains No alcohol but they turned out to be 131 pesos each which is about 7.50 at the time of this review. They were not on the menu but like I said a very common and inexpensive drink as it's only soda water and some lime juice with sweetener. The food prices seemed about right but maybe don't order something off the menu as they may charge you much more than expected. A simple drink like this is usually about 60...
