The food here is really great and they offer you a complimentary item to choose from such as: shrimp, ceviche or a round of piña coladas. We had two garlic shrimp and it was perfectly seasoned, breaded shrimp, and some kind of fish (sorry, I don't know the name). For the fish, you're able to choose which one you want them to prepare for you before you are seated. The area is destroy and in ruins the places dirty and with lack of minimal services these is a typical strategy to promote the idea to tourists that Mexico in general is a dump and places like those operate on large profits while providing mediocre services and cero investment into the area from the owners yeh place have potencial but the mentality of some of the people to take advantage of the ignorance and in some cases the stereotype have create places like popotlan with thousands of visitors large profits and cero investment to provide a better experience and increase the...

I just read the reviews and some people you just can't please no matter what you do. Be sure to read thru a person's reviews of other establishments before you pass judgment on a business I had one customer that posted a negative review of my company, then looked at all her reviews and she just flat out hates life. On the plus side, i tried Mariscos La Tia and was completely satisfied. Had the Volcan w/ lobster, shrimp and meats and vegetables. Absolutely delicious. Bit of a language barrier for me since i dont speak Spanish.....i will be returning again...
