I took a friend for his birthday because he brags about it. It is a little expensive. We had a buffet. Everything looks just suppose to. There were some food signs were missings. I thought their service a little slow. even though many wait staff people just busy talking to each other. I had to raise my hand to catch their attention. They could hear my voice even the music wasn't playing. So I thought maybe the owner is giving the opportunity to deaf people. Which is a great concept. But they weren't deaf. When the time came for us to leave. They were all running around time. Asking if we are happy and do we need anything. I wonder why their service improved all of a sudden. Maybe that's what they were having a meeting on how to improve their service. where I tried several times for their attention. nobody wanted to end their interpersonal training. I ordered a steak. I was hoping to have a steak-like in States. So I told the guy to make it medium-rare. Not a problem said the chef. When a waiter brought it over. It was a thin slice. Like the one, you use for taco care Asada meat. He killed the cow so bad. It tasted like leather and hard. First time I had the opportunity to taste leather. I can't chew on my leather jacket. My jacket is more expensive than per pound of steak. I sent back the steak. They made another steak for me. It was only 10% better than the first one. My friend ordered a third time hoping it will get better. By 2nd try, I gave up. My friend's 3rd try was worst than 1st try. He was going to order for 4th time. Until I reminded him of baseball rules. Three strikes and you are out. They do not take credit cards only cash. So I had to leave my friend as a hostage. While I run to the bank. I do not blame them for this action. Otherwise, people will eat for free. I almost changed my mind of going back to this place while I was at the bank. But decided to go back & pay. The reason is my friend lost one of his legs. I did not want to see lose the other on his birthday. Hey, I do have feelings...
Read moreThis place was hit and miss for me. So very hard to judge. On the one hand amazing friendly waitstaff, on the other, a large lack of food for a buffet. After a minimal wait outside, around 11am, we where seated. Got some drinks, joked around with the friendly waitstaff. The pianist played us some songs. Very happy atmosphere all around. The food was good, and the pastries, to die for. Many in our group are not big sweets fans, but all went back for seconds and even thirds of the pastries. The rest of the buffet was below average. They ran out of tacos fast, with the only option being carne asada, they where out of all other meats. The other parts of the buffet was various salads and the like, with some barbacoa as a meat option. There was not much there to choose from. Usually at buffets, I get full before I try everything I want to try. That was not the case here, I kept going back hoping they would put out new food, but it never happened. The food selection was just sorely lacking for me to recommend this place as a buffet. I'm not sure whether we will ever return. It is a nice place to get together with family, great atmosphere, just a...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible experience! This is the Turkey dinner they said they had! First it was cold. So the heated it up. Had gizzards and bones in it. Then no thanksgiving sides stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy. No pumpkin pie. Nothing. So let’s take the holiday meal out of it! Everything looked stale and old. Nothing fresh. The cooks were too occupied to serve you. And doing there own thing. The only star was the waiter. He did everything to try and make it better. He re heated the turkey, and tried to make things better but at that point it’s a lost cause! He had very good customer service! I should have walked in to see first before eating. And to top it off, the power went out while we...
